I see the Chief Finance Officer has just left for React PLC and the remaining directors topped up in August. Grateful for the directors keeping private investors informed of future direction of the company. Thought it was worth more than this ie James Wood at Cannaccord but maybe I shouldn't believe the positive messages

MarkHorton-with hindsight wish I'd sold in 2018 but my analysis shows that my losses in IMB have been more than covered by dividends over the years. IMB have been part of my "balanced" portfolio and like most amateur investors its "buy and forget".
There are views on the tobacco industry but how many consumers think of ethics when they fill their car with petrol or diesel , drink alcohol or have a bet. Likewise governments when they are setting tax rates. Just saying:)

Guess directors performance indicators and their bonus could be helped by a share buyback. A dividend only rewards the shareholders. Just call me a cynic :)

Big assumption but I suggest most shareholders in L&G are buy and hold. We get a juicy dividend and grumble a bit when the price drops but dont sell. As my wife keeps reminding me, you only lose money when you sell. Unless you think UKplc is doomed then this ought to be a buying opportunity. I'll ask my wife :)

Good results in a tough market. Share price is a bit leaky coming up to results but guess that is the Aim wild west market. With changes in working patterns this has to be a good opportunity for Smartspace

Not sure-my head says go accumulation but my heart likes a bit of divi. I am retired and my children say go accumulation and sell if you need income but I never do 'cos I never have, and its nice to have a bit of tax free income to either spend or spread around. I'll probably die with rich kids inheriting!

Can I humbly suggest, without malice, a cousin in the area (What!!) or any other available knowledge, that small investors save yourselves an hour a day and delete Zephyr from their watchlist for 6 months and just let the BOD do their job. They've made their forecasts, the investors have made their investment decisions , now please will these armchair experts stop wanting more information or writing to the CEO so the directors can do the job that they are paid to do and deliver. I forecast, as an armchair expert of many AIM shares, that in 6 months time, I will know whether this will be a success for the investor of just another payday for directors.

Noticed that often traders mark GT up by 10+p at opening time following which it falls during the day. Today for instance it opened at 181 and finished at 173p-almost the same price as the previous day. Any idea why?
