The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
No thanks, Iâll stick with my shirt and continue to add where I can. This Sp movement is so predictable, setting itself up nicely for a sharp drop post RNS release. Not long to wait now.
Hereâs to another red day. Roll on the RNS!
The sp is going to look a lot lower when this sidetrack doesnât deliver.
Why follow the money when you can follow the share price, surely a fool would know thatâs a better indicator of performance. Doesnât matter a rats azz if someone drops 100k into a share, if the price is down the price is down! No two ways about it!
Well it basically is sheet or bust, regardless if they have other prospects. If another raise at this level then it kills any hope of a return for anyone already in.
Down another 10% today, not looking goodâŚ
12% down now. Leaky ship!!!
Apologies, let me correct myselfâŚ.now 10% down
The imminent news is so âgoodâ the sp is down another 5 % today, hmmm, I wonder whyâŚ.
Weâll soon see John bellâŚ.*
Quite simply? Based on the current sp. If there is so much anticipation of positive news and 250bpd then why is the so languishing the way it is? Why is down 5% today? Why is it significantly below the price it was before oil was even found??
Thatâs my reasoning in its more basic form. And if you donât take that into consideration when investing (short or long) then you really should be revising your strategy.
Ha! Okay, well on that basis (using the best drillers in the business) Iâd say itâs fairly safe to say that BCE will be absolutely dead in the water if these guys canât deliver. And thatâs exactly whatâs going to happen, trust me.
no direct experience sheephatch, as l suspect you donât. does that mean that one canât have valuable insights/knowledge on an industry, business or commodity? people invest where they see opportunity, and i see an opportunity here to short and make money. i can confirm that this has paid off so far. unlike anyone who has gone long here, happy to be proven wrong but at such a low price, who has made money here going long?
to address âhere for ****â , no, i am not ****ting myslef, the only people who should be are the ones holding longs here.
either way, we will soon see who is laughing. give it a week and youâll be wishing youâll have listened to me.
Youâre right scarlet, definitely something negative brewing.
Where is sheephatch at now? Spouting 3p nonsense the other day!! What a joke. Like Iâve said from the beginning, this is going nowhere, the company is a sham to get mates rich quick, at the expense of noob piâs.
Do yourselves a big favour and get out now or short.
Yup
Wouldnât want to be in this over the weekend.
OriginalâŚ..đ
Regardless of all the BS, whether my opinion or anyone elseâs on here, all that matters is the sp - thatâs telling sign here, and the way the sp has performed over the last 6 months tell me one thing, this is going nowhere. The increase over the last few days has almost been negated today and yesterday (no doubt the rampers will disagree, but the numbers donât lie). The sp is a fraction of what it was before oil was even discovered!!! And even if they can get 100 or so bpd out of this duster, itâs going to require significant capex to commercialise it to a point where it may make a profit. Donât listen to the rubbish Sheephatch spouts about it being self funding over 150bpd, the BoD will simply lap that up in performance dividends.
And right on queue, down she goes. A mere 8%, plenty more downside to come when this sidetrack fails to deliver
Youâre putting words in my mouth sheephatch, itâs really not how I put it, you know that, youâre taking the usual gaslight approach to come across as the moral good guy. Take all that bs aside (itâs not fooling me), all anyone needs to do is look at the share price, itâs movement over the 3 months and the scandalous placing they recent completed. Period.
P.s. For clarity to the noob investors here, no, I donât think this will be around in a years time.
