RE: Kuparuk...24 Mar 2021 18:46
Rabito do you gamble? So in gambling terms 1/10 in a horse race is almost a certain winner , 1/9 on is also a certain winner also . So 90% for success an 10% for failure . If you go for success its £10 to win £1 an if you go for kuparuk to fail you put £1 to win £9 or £10 . Pretty big odds for failure an very short for success so it looks like a guaranteed winner for sure ? Maybe not mathematically correct but hey in a 2 horse race it looks pretty clear to me ?
When i used the analogy of 50/50 which is even chance it goes 1 way or another it was my way of using a gambling term as a toss of a coin . Obviously my true own personal odds or yours or % whichever way you prefer to choose are whether invested or not will differ . The company has pointed out already its cautiously optimistic which does not smell off a 90% winner as if you heard a horse trainer say they are cautiously optimistic about there horse would you even bet it at big odds let alone a 1/10 on chance ? Can you see my balance point ? To say its a 1/10 or 1/9 on chance of success is ridiculous and if we get a bit crazy could almost be blasphemy if we bring the bible into play !!!!
