My investment is going down at the rate of £500 a day. At this rate I will be down to zero in 40 days.

Short term has become long term. Drop is on going. I wonder if its on way to becoming another Afren Plc. Going bust in year or so or less at this rate. Now price of 39 will become the norm then it will have another tantrum and make 38 the norm and eventually 30s will be distant memory like £50 is now.

Did it really hit 32£ be it for 2 seconds??

Some killer points there Tom. I can't think of anything else but market manipulation. I honestly thought when other major stocks run out of steam (like today) this will go up. But no, it falls when market falls, it fals when market is strong, it falls when it gives strong results, it falls when it gives great outlook for the future....it just falls all the time :-((

And now institutions are ready to jump to shp as other major stocks go red.

I call it manipulation by the large institutions to maximize their profits.

Over the last few days, major drop happens when the US market opens. I wonder if the unknow issues causing the 'recent' drop are US based?

So another drop predicted tomorrow then? Thats just excellent. Where will this baseless fall in sp end? 30£?? I tell you what, it has dented my confidence so much that it wont surprise me if it keeps going down to 20£ without any reason whatsoever. :-(((

i see your point of loweing sales forecast but what about million and one positves. Revised profts up dividends up many approvals over the last few monts and shares crash because revenue might be a bit lower but profits up . every number beat market expectations and it ends down. I think MMs love catching private investors with their pants down. In fact sp has been going down since last results. 4 months is avery long time for a share to keep drifiting lower. May be accounts are all a hoaks and its about to ho bust.

Was there a small primt in tradinh update no one saw till usa opened at 2.30pm

I thought shire was ftse 100 company. Its sp is being manipulated like a aim stock.

Why the big drop 41 from 44. All when usa opened. Can someone please explain.

I hope you're right about all the positives. Sadly recovering to late 40's in the next 12 months is a big downer but realistic. Shire pays rubbish dividends, if any, in comparison to other blue chip companies. The least i want from it is a decent gain in SP. :-)

All good news over the last five weeks sunk this share even more. I cant find any short positions in it on the web. So 2 options. 1 - some have insider knowledge and are jumping SHiP as it will be bad news . 2- Market Makers may also have insider knowledge that it may be good news and are deliberately taking the price down to promote panic selling and grab shares on the cheap. Who knows. Trading is a dirt dirty business designed to make private investors lose. :-((

In 2 days and sp is in the toilet. Looks like real stock traders are expecting disappointing figures and so have sold their holdings driving the price down to where it is. This has got to be One of my most disapointng holdings. Lets see what thursday brings. Not holding my breath. In fact bracing for a nasty drop. :-((. GL to us all holders.
