Ice - Again i concur. I think the company had turned a corner and Sidara should of paid more. However the deal was done and my strategy was to add at these artificially low prices and get out with a decent profit. It's been a horror show but business is like that sometimes.

Stop whinging YE and read the proposal before posting. Sidara make payment straight away and the deal is 100% done...all that is left are formalities. I have agreed with much of what Ice has posted...we needed to see the accounts and this deal is a stitch up but it was always nailed on (the IIs are always sounded out first) and Ice should of read the room.

Jackdog - It will probably open at 22p tomorrow. This deal has been nailed on for a long time but the share price has never reflected it which is bizarre...but very profitable if you kept gobbling them up 😂

Downagain - This is one of the most heavily manipulated shares I've ever seen. So many tree shakes and games to make the weak hands (see comments below) hand over their shares. At the end of the day there is probably a 20% chance of a no vote (I dont think the big boys will play hardball over 5p and will have been sounded out long ago) and then up to 6 months to get paid. It's not for everyone and I would expect the price to be in the 21 5-24p range until confirmation.

It doesn't. 30p (and the cash injection) was basically a rescue but Wood have now rescued themselves. Despite what the board are saying surely things have moved on and no II would accept 30p now. The break up value is clearly many multiples more.

The FCA investigation is irrelevant. It has been completed by Deloitte who are far more competent. Those issues are historic and there are no more skeletons in the cupboard.

Sidara have soent too much time and money to walk and (as I said last night) they are basically running the company already. Any issues are all historic including the FCA investigation which doesn't even warrant a mention.

I think it goes beyond making a bid and sounds more like they are already running the show and the ones negotiating with the banks etc.

I wouldn't get too stressed about an FCA review.

I owned a regulated businesses and was audited/reviewed by the FCA.

They were far more thorough/stricter than the OFT but still very rarely hit a company hard....usually a fine and slap on the wrist.
