Is MD a gambler? Gobbling up shares whilst knowing as little as we do, and all the while the guys holding all the cards sit on the fence! Something not fitting. When was the CEO last asked if and when he might decide in favour of having a skin in the game?

Someone reminded that SP is where it was 5 years ago. Was that when potential partners were queueing up to embrace and expand our many (now largely dormant?) pillars? Would be interesting to play back some of those 0shareholder briefings.

The worry, is it not, is that apparently MD knows as little as we do - then playing a hunch with money that if this thing tanks, won't lose him sleep (says the guy who started this thread at an ungodly hour) - or that the CEO who knows more than anyone, isn't drawn to follow in MD's footsteps, even baby ones. Only AS can settle nerves on his count. Meantime stagnation.

Questions: That MD buys shed loads day in and day out, and, according to Sky, doesn't know SA from Adam, and that SA won't fork out to buy even a small holding - even just as a SP booster. Are they in cahoots? Or is it conceivable MD doesn't know things SA does. Surely MD can't know things SA doesn't? What is MD's source? Why does SA sit on the fence silently and passively? Pieces don't fit. Concerning. When was SA last queried as to why he hasn't yet bought shares?

CEO's reticence to invest is disturbing as is his lack of communication.

The positive indicator in the mix, as others have pointed out, is the guy who's hoovering up shares; he's a notorious gambler or knows a thing or two. Was it you Sky who sought to distance him from the CEO on the back of first-hand knowledge?. Wonder what he'd make of your assuming the mantle of spokesman? Anyway he's sustaining my flagging confidence. He must be in the know.

Mr. Ashman could play a part in this latest saga - true or false as may be; for how long might it playout? Might this be the time for him, finally, to get off the fence and buy SBTX shares. To do so might settle nerves, just as not to do so might unsettle them.

Does no-one deem it worthy of comment that early-doors this very day, a buyer/buyers forked out some £550K to buy 2.25m shares?. Follow the money.

No Net; not a small percentage double-digit percentage of the ingredient value; shouldn't prove difficult to establish; but we don't want inflated expectation have us lose the run of ourselves. Listen to what SA said; along the lines (as far as a I know): 'it would be unreasonable to expect our double-digit royalty to attach to the product sale-price; rather the percentage will reflect the value of our embedded ingredient, or words to this effect?

Are we overlooking a key element; there's more to this story than bringing a new cosmetic into play; it's part and parcel of an environmentally-friendly green sea-change, with Croda taking a lead, SBTX along for the ride with all the kudos that goes with it. Early days then - disappointing market response , but SBTX finally vindicated and SA seen to be a man of his word. A lot of positives in that - even if we have top wait longer for fruit. The bona fides are intact.

Is it not surprising that significant stakeholders - Tyndal and the likes - don't collectively take out as much as Opti seek to dispose of? With the dumper side-lined, they (and we) will see an immediate, even if moderated share price upward momentum. The only downside is if hype is ill-founded - but if they thought that they'd be long gone. Why not top up at current bargain price; the following day they'll be winning already. So will we.

That's the Croda double digit percentage margin firmly cemented in. And where's the guy who said he'd buy in the event this were clarified? Maybe he'll just go away, else move only to re-enter on another spurious line of attack; never mind he's discredited as I had previously suggested. SA is no clearer in the matter on this occasion than we was last time out. A good morning's work all told.
