Cheers for info, interesting read. the Netflix thing just didn't sound right to me, sounded like scaremongering or someone with an agenda. Im confident with ITV shares, might be a long term hold but that's not a problem.

Not trying to distort anything, I don�t understand how Netflix is eating away at ITV, I use Netflix Sky and watch free view, I could understand the point about Netflix if advertisers were spending their money on Netflix instead but they aren�t.Netflix 7.5 million users in UK, ITV has 38.4 million viewers. People don�t �flock� from ITV to Netflix they use both platforms. I�ve got nothing against Netflix but people will always watch FTA tv especially if they continue to produce good content. I don�t know anyone who sits there only watching Netflix every night, but do use it a few nights a week.

Again I find it odd you hold 250k in ITV without believing things will come good. To bash a stock whilst holding i cant understand that approach. If you think Netflix is a better investment then why not sell and put in Netflix? I dont get why people refer to Netflix on here, ITV has lost advertising revenue but not to Netflix as no ads on there. Itv revenue from production is up so that's good. Everyone i know that uses Netflix also watches ITV. We use Netflix/watch freeview/and pay for SKY TV so i dont know what you mean by Netflix eating away at ITV? Seems to be a lot of shorters on this board rather than genuine holders.

no I didn't think of that, I toyed with the idea of selling the value of my investment to put elsewhere and leaving the profits in here. Just don't want to sell early if this has still got more legs :)

It doesnt look like it's stopping but what do i know, id hate to sell now and share price keeps rising, see how it goes, fingers crossed. Card keeps expanding, 50 stores a year and Ireland next. I read about Clinton's market share declining again. Im gonna give some more time i think

iv still got another 3 sharesaves to cash in yet so im all good there as they are all bought at £7-8. I think your wrong about ITV though mate. No big shows??? My gf would kick off, X factor, BGT,I'm a celebrity,The voice, plus the soaps which I wont bother listing. Not my cup of tea but very popular. Also I read an interesting article about how many households and the demographics of itv watchers which sounded great, il try find it now for you.

Did you sell your itv shares then? If not I think will see £2 again if prepared to wait a while of course. All my profit from sky went in to itv about a month ago at just over 1.50. Hoping to see a decent increase on that plus divi. No rush though this can be a long term investment as divi yield is good. :)

Your down 50k on itv and ur on here bashing it? I dont understand the logic in that. Unless you mean you sold at a loss and now dislike the company. I hope you make your loss back elsewhere though. Also I see the SKY basher is back on here again, "This is going below £8" err no I dont think so it went to almost £14 shortly after. I know who I trust on this board and it aint this guy.

Nice profit, im holding on for divi then decide i think we will see more gains upto divi. Could be wrong.

Sounds right from memory. Even if special is 7.5p then CARD still pays high divi compared to others

Does it mean full year divi? As in both added together, get 2 divis plus special. Im not sure mate.

Yeah i suppose, must work for them otherwise they wouldnt do it, i dont know anything about charts if im honest i just groan inside everytime i see matt retweet the charts as the interpreted outcome never happens. Plus I dont know how useful charts can be when a share has large amounts of warrants. Fingers crossed for steady rises after the 20th. Some good posters on this board, im also in LION, that board is an absolute shambles tbh. GL ntoggers :)
