Crumbs has a point, whilst this RNS appears to written with a more positive tone, it could be better still IMO. And it also reiterates that they should have split the previous all encompassing RNS into separate, more positive, succinct RNS's, like this one.

Whilst you have other AIM companies issuing overly bullish RNS, overselling and over-hyping, whereas Scancell have always gone too far in the other direction, massively (IMO) under selling, under selling, dry and dour, bordering on depressing. Always seemed a bit off to me.

If you have great products/science, shout about it and be positive about it for Pete's sake!

11:01 chilltime: Trading weakness large sells.

A few days ago in the midst of the dive regular reports surfaced EG around 11 x 250k sells.

Dips spook PIs who assisted the drop.

Goodfellow had 2.88m in options to execute at 4.5p and probably did post the news update, cashing in hence the largish sells.

Trades aren't necessarily all sells as reporting can mean, the number into the market then back out, 2 reports,

Yesterday two sells close together came to about 500k then a 300k later.

Peel Hunt have been the dominant one on the offer throughout, suggesting they are/were the ones with the stock.

On top of that during or prior there is Seneca Capital. They hold Scancell and declared a 2p dividend for the relevant fund of which there re only two shares 75% of which are Scancell.

In their AGM presentation (May 23) they stated they were selling Scancell to pay the 2p dividend.

They did that last year too 1m at over 20p, so this year the likely sell requirement would be around 1.5m-2m shares, tp fund the dividend. They treat Scancell as their dividend cash each year.

So add Goodfellow to Seneca and that's probably 4.5m or so shares sold from larger holdings, hence the recent weakness."

To be fair to crumbs, he has a point here, especially the falling in love bit, the company has gone through a number of chairman, the one common thread is Lindy (but yes I appreciate her science is why the company exists in the first place).

Hopefully Cossery though has now finally bought in a new more cut throat approach, commercially speaking, and redmile and vulpes will finally (and soon) want their payback for their investment.

Saying all that though, the extension of options means the closed period notion seems to be both very intriguing and logical. No director buys for quite some time now?

Like occams says, you need a show a bit more sophistication and maybe get a new deramping template, it's far too basic and too generic. Copy and paste will only get you so far.
