In the interest of sharing news for both sides I see the government is ?U-turning on Sunak's promise of allowing ICE purchases until 2035...it's now banning sales from 2030 again...should see an effect on lithium demand and subsequently price / tonne

Companies producing lithium now will benefit,. exploration companies will not. The price has dropped massively of late and will continue to do so as uptake in EVs falls.

Until its economical for the consumer to get an EV over an ICE the EV industry will never take off. Simple suplly and demand...

The peak in lithium has well amd truly been and gone.

The uptake in EVs hasnt gone as planned for.many reasons.

Insurance companies are refusing to insure EV cars now, they spontaneous set fire (luton airport) and cause mass devastation as the battery burns very hot. The ranges are still poor, infrastructure for charging poor and electricity is more expensive now.

Plus they cost a lot more than ICEs and the average household will always choose a car 5k cheaper that does the same thing than spend the money.

Flawed science...we dont even need to reduce CO2,.if anything we should be increasing atmospheric CO2....it helps plants grow and boosts yields in farming... there's a reason farmers pumo the stuff into greenhouses...

More land options...i think the ship has sailed on lithium though. The EV industry is a scam and people are waking up to it.

Also look at the trend in price for lithium per tonne the last 6 months....doesnt make for lucrative reading
