Exactly that, a discussion board, and we've all got our own ideas and some here (I know of three) have already contacted the company to find out about the situation.
The fact that some (most) posters here don't agree with your opinions appears to make you defensive.
As you keep on repeating, it's a discussion board, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion
But instead of guessing, please, contact the company and see what response you get... it may make you feel more like cup half full, instead of cup half empty...(as Fuzzbox referred to).

Evidently (you've seen the wound) they are going to try and squash the wound to aid the closure..... but what the hell do I know....!

All I know is they use a doppler machine whilst fitting.
Now a doppler is used to check your blood flow, in certain parts of your body, and in my case it will be used on the foot to ensure they haven't cut off the circulation. So that tells me it's going to be extremely tight.... I can only assume that this type of dressing will be used until at least the 20th Aug when I see the specialist again... OUCH

I agree, I think this is a positive move, bringing in a bigger player just before the plant comes into production

I'm off to hospital this afternoon to have this new compression dressing put on my leg, goodness knows what that's going to be like, but the name infers that's it's going to be very tight..... could be painful then eh
