I am sure the software the mm's use has them at a huge advantage, we appear to be at the mercy of the games they play on a daily basis.

What they can never control is an overwhelming demand for a share as we saw recently with SWC rising from 3p to £5-6 in a matter of weeks. The trick is not be greedy and settle up to fight another say.

The behaviour of the market makers is in need of investigating. Last week I saw the bid levels taken down on two of my shares at a time when the demand was very high.

Rather then put the ask up to encourage more buying they seem hell bent on tree shakes to grab cheap shares from the inexperienced investors who either set stop losses or panic sell.

All of this questionable legal manipulation of the S.P. has changed the behaviour of many investors to not look long term at a share,. day trading is becoming more prominent,.. People shifting money from a share on the slid to one that appears to be gaining upward momentum is happening hourly in any given day.

Technology , mobile apps , fast pace of life have changed the dynamics of what was once a long term investment strategy for many.

I'm officially retired and a bit old school when it comes to investing. But I have had to adapt to this new style of investing to stay in the game.

Holding long term was my plan on this share but I soon realised after the warrants issue the rot set in on the S.P. and I sold 75% of my holding.

I am now in a much stronger position with a smaller holding and lower average which I will be able to increase over the coming weeks.

The bonus is I now have a portfolio of 5 other shares with 3 moved into profit this week and the other 2 waiting on news that could send them both into big gains soon.

This has only been achieved by hard decision making, overstretched buying of shares just to average down is in my opinion a losing formula.

Deeper analysis is necessary and topping up just because you have extra funds is not always the right strategy.

This proved to be the case with a share I have that dropped in value by 50%. I was tempted to average down but experience taught me I had no idea where the bottom was. So I stayed calm and this week it started to rise, I decided it was time to top up and bring my average down and by the end of day trading on Friday I was in profit.

No amount of research can give you an edge on knowing which shares will make you a profit, no one has a magic formula but having a blinkered and loyal belief in one share alone is a recipe for disaster.

Good luck wherever you invest but don't get sucked in by the ramping brigade and cheerleaders. The trolling derampers are not worth engaging with either, think only for yourself.

Yet I made a valid comment on what is needed to move this share upward and the best you could do was call me a "Mutt" and leave the board, I really doubt your sincerity on this board because of your blatant ramping when the share continues to perform poorly.

No amount of Rocket Emojis seems to help lift HE1 off the ground, you may need to save some of that hot air you keep releasing to help matters. Your probably the sole reason serious investors give this share a wide berth ,so well done for that.

I am invested in 6 shares as I have explained and there are certain individuals who appear very knowledgeable on surface, almost to the point where they spend an unhealthy amount of time posting detailed info, you start to suspect they are employed by someone to create positivity or they have OCD.

I was invested in DGI and everyone respected a poster who appeared to be committed totally to the company. He led everyone to believe he had invested huge amounts of money, also persuaded friends and family to invest.

Just prior to DGI delisting from the London Stock Exchange he stopped posting. Large amounts of sells followed before the RNS was posted.

Make what you like of that,.. I don't see any God like characters in here , but when someone dedicates time to long posts on a regular basis, you need to bring some caution into your thinking in my mind.

That's my opinion based on previous experiences,..everyone invested wants the S.P. to rise and hear positive news, we all instantly dismiss the "trolls" who try to scare us out of our shares .. I actually believe the rampers and cheerleaders are more dangerous,... that's why I say trust no one but yourself.

These boards have now become havens for the failing misfits in society. They get off on winding people up with their nonsense and once baited the whole board is clogged up with more of them as the day goes by.

No point trying to reason with them or have a sensible debate, your better off just doing your own research put your money in and hold. Ignore the noise when an RNS lands, because they make a concerted effort to destroy any positivity to drive the S.P. down.

I hold 6 stocks atm and it's quite quiet this time of year , get August done we may see some increased interest in the markets but with that upturn more trolls will be using the same clichéd wording to deramp and ramp.

Sit on your shares, top up in the dips and HODL, be patient, trust only yourself , filter the annoying one's and if your investment is having a bad day,.. switch off there is always tomorrow.

There are some decent posters out there, but don't be fooled into giving them God like status, they are here just like you and me , to make money. The market is like shark infested seas , navigate carefully.

Pubcrawl investment in HE1 probably zero, his investment on this board several thousand hrs and rocket emojis and a large helping of 🐃💩.

The volume of trading needed to move this share upward runs into many thousands of trades a day;.. look at the fundamentals today almost all buys and the share price hasn't budged.

One decent RNS and the traders will be in for their 10% and gone by mid day, ..rinse repeat.

Genuine Investors know this is not going to go massive in weeks, you can call out the rampers as much as you like but that pretty much shows your level of intelligence, trying to preach to those who are in the opposite camp,.. you are stating the bleeding obvious and no one cares about your short term agenda.

That word imminent, used often in an RNS to excite people. It was used to inform investors in CHP that the banking licence approval was imminent,... that was over 2 months ago and still no approval,.. so caution should be exercised with the usage of this word.

You are more valuable to this board by posting information that you have researched. Genuine investors appreciate the dedication and time you take in keeping people updated with your analysis on news and any snippets of media articles that are posted.

Replying to his nonsense in his mind is to acknowledge his view , almost an endorsement from a respected poster.

I understand some people believe in challenging other posters opinions but when you take a serious look at Bobsocks and his history he stands out as nothing more than a nuisance.
