@Norwej
Life wasn't always like this, number crunching through computers because that is the nature of the beast.
We had Gold star awards at school, they would be stuck at the bottom of the page after the teachers comments, credited for works of excellence. Many years later my Daughter who attended the same school explained that Gold Stars were no longer awarded because they could be purchased at Tesco's.
I was fortunate to live in a period of time after two World Wars where people had genuine hope and optimism of a brighter future. Empathy and Honesty were held in high standard in our society.
We are now saturated with social media through the internet , kids no longer sit patiently waiting at a bus stop interacting with one another , they exist in their own space staring at phone screens until the school bus arrives.
I feel very sad for our young generations growing up with this technological explosion, confusing inexperienced minds on making the right choices, life was simple in the 70's , the halcyon days in my mind and I still try to keep it that way, a case of less is more.
