Excited by the possibilities and invested here but just wondered if anyone, anywhere has ever drilled a well for helium that is not a by-product of hydrocarbon extraction? Have they even tried to drill one anywhere?
Ver positive with 1000 trades today already but some very odd numbers of shares traded on latest page: 223, 189,16, 10 20, 80, 22, 6(!) and 4 (!) shares. What do theses tiny amounts mean?
Where does the OTC market in the US get its shares? With the UK market closed they presumably cant get shares from UK holders. So is there a supply problem in the US that is causing the rise in the price? When the UK market opens will shares flow to the US and bring the price down again?
Elections should be good for IDOX29 Apr 2021 08:27
Elections should be good for IDOX however when I ask our local authority if used IDOX said that used to use them but stopped as they had serious problems and changed to a new supplier. Still used IDOX for planning etc. Elections should be an important earner - need to get their act together.
"The Board of CEPS announces that it has come to light during the audit of CEPS' full year results for the year ended 31 December 2020 that a material non-cash error of approximately £1.732 million, in relation to the exceptional profit on disposal, was made in the unaudited half-yearly report for the six months ended 30 June 2020 that was released on 25 September 2020 ("Interims"). The Interims showed an exceptional profit on the disposal of two loss-making subsidiaries, CEM Press Limited and Travelfast Limited (trading as Sampling International), of £2.555 million. The results for the full year are currently anticipated to show an exceptional profit on disposal of approximately £825,000."
“Growth in underlying revenues† and earnings compared to the same period last year“ † Growth excluding the one-off impact of the December 2019 UK General Election in FY20 Q1, for which there is no comparable event in FY21 Q1
Does this mean no growth? Good news about cash. But setting up an M&A dept given their past record may be worrying!!
Cannacord says 36p "fair value" given successful find with the drilling programme and 3p if wells unsuccessful. Canaccord then produce an average "fair value" of 20p which assumes a 50% chance of finding Helium in commercial quantities with the first 3 or 4 holes. Why 50%? The current SP, if accept Canaccords figures, suggests a 25% chance when in fact we should assume they are sinking the holes somewhere they think they are likely to be successful. If the independent resource report is OK then Helium 1 is, according to Canaccord, valued at fraction of N American peers.
RE: WH Ireland Report 22nd March 202122 Mar 2021 14:09
Asset valuations are nice to have - WH Ireland say the N sea is worth £2 a share (they value it currently at 9.9p to get to 24.3p "fair value"), but don't beat an income from the promised dividend. Not clear what that is likely to be. They say "the Company aims to distribute up to 30% of free cash flow as a dividend to shareholders." A 1p dividend would cost £7m. WHI reckon cash from operations of about £17m but don't say/know how much of that is committed .
