Most clothing in the US is probably from China and South East Asia.
Does anyone believe that Leicester has more slave labour potential (let alone reality) than in that part of the world?
Honestly very shocking that this company keeps getting battered like this.
Ive bought some more this morning, but Im certainly not happy about the garbage being thrown around especially with the recent changes being made public with respect to the company sourcing standards.

i read your posts and note that you are a firm believer in Boo having been in the company for a number of years. i just wanted to point out that your view of the company is a little different to many on here, as you have witnessed and enjoyed massive growth in the early years. for instance in the period between 2016 - 2017 the price grew circa x4 times. it was easy as an investor to ride this because the share price was literally headed north month on month. Since 2017 however, the growth to date has been much less - circa 60% till now? Therefore current / new investors are not seeing the benefit that you may have, assuming you purchased pre-2017. I am a new investor and i like the fundamentals and i believe the company has huge potential, but the share price is incredibly naughty on the other hand!

Yes it has been on a downward trend for many days now, but looking at history the downward doesnt last forever!
i think presently there has been a lot of recent attention on cryptos and travel/leisure stocks that were very depressed for a long time. once people have made their quick cash over there they will return to look at companies such as Boo that have fantastic future prospects.

why a big drop expected? hasn't the big drop already happened? lol.....
so we may get an online tax of a couple of % - don't see that denting the share price much
so what if the high street is opening up? where are you going to shop? Debenhams? Arcadia? Im sure i read somewhere that John Lewis is also rumoured to be closing some stores.
Online is the future whether we like it or not and companies like Boo have a massive head start....

So the fleas escaped the eye of the machinist producing the clothing. Then survived the ironing department because they like to be cooked crispy. Then were not noticed by the packing department or the QCs at the factory that sealed them in plastic packing. Then they survived the two week journey between seal pack to warehouse to customer by post and still came out happy like they were on the back of Kamanis K9. Oh and best of all they fed off the polyester fabric they are known to love.
Biggest load of crap ever!
if the problem is/was the ownership of the company, it wouldn't be where it is today.
there is a counter argument that the business being managed by people of a different background has ruffled feathers. One cannot deny that the negative press was unusually amplified and is definitely one reason for the dampened growth in the share price. since then, there have been a number of changes.
fundamentals and expectations are both important, but to differing degrees/proportions depending on the product and / or industry. in the clothing industry, fundamentals are probably more important than for instance in the case of a tech company, or a metals exploration company. boo didn't grow its chest of cash without having strong fundamentals of a business, and without that chest of cash it has built it wouldn't have the expectations of a great future....
unfortunately very easy to loose patience especially when expectations are high, but look around and you find that this company is one of the safest options out there despite its volatility on the bourse. the upside potential is massive in the long term. i was also disappointed by the recent drop, but the fundamentals are strong over here and getting stronger by the day in my opinion, and then we have a wave of acquisitions that is simply putting us on another level altogether.

You are not blocked mate!

and the good news is we are now approaching (if not already there i hope!) levels where buyers will simply not be able to resist!
just eat takeaway had great results - price has dropped since, and is further down circa 4% today
the ftse is generally down
even ASOS playing catchup with boohoo today....not flying as others thought it would
