Noted. I suppose what I’m asking is, can AMS increase its own shareholding by way of a subscription at a low price (say 0.3p) without making an offer for the entire shareholding for 1.5p? If not, and the prospect of a subscription by someone else is highly unlikely, why the dramatic drop in the SP? AMS won’t want anyone else new in on the cheap other than themselves

Yes optimism, but justified optimism based on the last RNS. There really does need to be an about turn by one of the parties to scupper this, but at this late stage after exhausting and prolonged discussions, surely we are now there?

If KZG does a placing with AMS and this takes AMS % above 30%, does that mean they would have to make an offer to the other shareholders, and if so, at what price, bearing in mind the 1.5p purchase price was agreed (although not paid) with Align more than a year ago? Or is this a way of AMS getting more shares on a diluted basis without consequence? The current SP shenanigans looks like there might be a placing. Getting concerned but not yet wetting the bed.

The good news is imminent IMO. If the SP rises enough then warrants may kick in obviating the need for any placing. I think Harry will avoid a placing while the good news is palpable

Neil777 They did a placing at 3.75p a day before the disposable vaping ban was announced so I think it will be a while before the next one. I bought the dip and sold on the bounce (thankfully, as it’s dipped again since). The bounce was underwhelming and I think this loss making company is going to struggle although Callum Somerton talks a good game. Like you I’ll waitin the wings to see if there is an attractive re-entry point. Hopefully ENET will have taken off by then….

The group has received nearly half the money so this is the clearest sign yet that this will be sorted and the full subscription monies paid. If not, I don’t fancy SBRs chances of recovering the €6m transferred so far and common sense suggests they wouldn’t have done this unless they were pretty darn sure the rest will follow. Hopefully the SP will recover now and bearing in mind the share subscription price was 3p there is a lot of potential upside IMO

The resolution today was to give the company the permission to do a future placing but that doesn’t mean one is imminent. If I’m wrong and there is to be a placing then let’s get on with it and get it out of the way asap. Of course, if there is to be a placing this needs to be justified as the current SP is pants and the last placing only took place in December 2023. While you’re at it Roland give us an update and steer as to where we are with GOI and (estimate) how long he expects before a decision by GOI is made. Roland, if you communicate these things, whether we like the answer or not, at least we will know where we stand and you will have extinguished current speculation. Ignore the personal insults which are both unwarranted and unhelpful not to say cruel, distasteful and disrespectful

I hope so. I thought it was a good RNS (what do I know?) but there seems to be concern that the $2.5m won’t be arriving any time soon because GOI will procrastinate in approving the deal. As such the fear is the company may need to raise funds in the meantime. Why a placing though (assuming Roland gets the approval in the GM tomorrow) when really all we need is a bridging loan / temporary debt finance?

Whilst not happy it has come to this, we have to be mature and accept that this action may be necessary for the survival of the company. If a placing becomes necessary to raise the funds to pay off the debt then that it what needs to happen, we really don’t have a choice. You either believe the company can succeed with or without the fructification of the historic parcel or you don’t. If you do then you may remain invested but if you don’t then perhaps you should bail. Personal insults against AP achieve nothing.

Yes, non-refundable deposit more accurately represents the situation. It’s not a loan really so I stand corrected. Let’s hope the rest of the money comes in soon.

To do a placing he needs to get authority from the shareholders and that takes time (an EGM is needed), so he’s really leaving it late in the day. I think he’ll get bridging finance and expect an announcement on that in the next few days

Hopefully impatient people will jump ship so we can buy more cheap shares. Beggars belief that those who bought earlier this week are bailing so soon. So fickle. I predict the RNS will land early next week - no basis for saying so.

Neil777 Please can you pop over to SYN and work your magic there. I decided to buy HE1 on Monday and sat at 2.87p - should have waited, but not worried now placing out of the way, this is a long term hold and hopefully an asset for at least a generation. This will be my second LTH along with GGP although SYN might well become a third!
