"Draper Esprit (LSE: GROW, Euronext Growth: GRW), a leading venture capital firm investing in and developing high growth digital technology businesses, notes the announcement today that Revolut, the financial superapp, has raised more than $800 million in a Series E round from new investors Softbank Vision Fund 2 and Tiger Global Management.

As a result of the investment, Revolut is now valued at $33 billion (~£24 billion). Based on the valuation implied by the fundraising, the Company's gross fair value holding (before carry deductions) is approximately £119 million. This is an uplift of £99 million to the March 2021 gross fair value of £20 million. The Company first invested in Revolut in 2018 as part of its Series C round.

Having launched in 2015, Revolut now has more than 16 million customers around the world using dozens of innovative products to make more than 150 million transactions a month."

It's a long-term hold for me. I think the FTSE move news (I believe on Weds 21st July) should start from this weekend and we should start to wider finance media coverage, tracker funds buying in (where they couldn't with an AIM company) and more brokers researching GROW and sharing their targets.

There will be some ups and downs on the way but Draper have now built an extensive network of feeder funds at seed level so they are spotting great companies earlier and this all looks positive to me. Investor's Chronicle recently highlighted how many winners are being found (prior to the £40m gain for Trustpilot):

"...Draper’s ability to pick winners. Just three of the group’s 17 largest investments saw negative revaluations over the last year, and then only by a combined £3.6m, against a total fair value gain of £357.8m."

Also the move to the FTSE 250 next week will be starting to feature in Financial news from now on. We were on our way to 1000p before the recent drop and we might get there by the end of this month.

I had a Trading top up at 900p last week as it was too good a bargain. #1 holding in my ISA and likely to be for years.

The IPO announcement suggests £78.3m banked so far, retention of remaining shares till at least September and 7.9% retained of 1.63billion = £128m. I make that £206m from their initial £29.7m investment!

"The Company's total investment to date has been £29.7 million and as of our interim results to 30 September 2020 our holding was valued at £80.9 million. As part of the IPO, the Company will be selling down part of its holding, resulting in proceeds of £78.3 million. The Company will continue to hold 7.9% in shares amounting to £85.5 million (subject to any exercise of the overallotment option during the period to admission) based on the Trustpilot share price on 23 March 2021. The Company's continued holding will be subject to a customary 180-day lock-up period from the date of admission in line with other institutional investors in Trustpilot. "

Retained TP shares valued at £65m on 31st March but have gone up 43% so should be £93m approx now :-)

Hi, I've only just discovered IQGeo as it popped up in one of my Simply Wall Street Stock screeners combining recent Insider buying and good Value, Health and Future ratings. I haven't had a chance to do too much research yet but enough to like what I see and to take a new starting position today. Optimistic about TU news. Should be this Thursday I believe.

I wish I'd seen it last year as shares were 270p last July and are 600p+ now.

I finally got around to watching the whole of an in-depth interview yesterday and was so so impressed by Steve Brown and have topped up again this morning. I really recommend the interview to anyone invested or interested in accesso as you get to know more about Steve's character, how he got to top, how the shares dropped 80% after he left, why accesso bought complementary companies etc etc. It was interesting for him to be interviewed by Theme Park experts rather than just the same old finance faces. He combines entrepreneurial spirit, energy, inspirational qualities, in-depth specialist knowledge etc. Naturally the interview focused on Theme Park Attractions but accesso are moving into management of Airport queuing in a big way and the market there is enormous. I'll leave you with this quote from Steve: "The number 1 reason that people don't go to Theme Parks is “I don’t like waiting in line. Number 2 is how much it costs. Always in that order. If you can address the number 1 objection consumers have to doing something why would you not address it?”

Cannacord have raised their price target from 398p to 452p today. Patience will pay off here.

The recent price dip allowed me to top up to build up my stake as I had faith that K3C would bounce back strongly. An 8% gain today following another acquisition (that often knock share prices) and a placeholding that was snapped up by institutional investors in minutes, all point to impressive growth in the future. A £250m company that I expect to double in size in the next 2-3 years.

Agreed, all very positive and the potential market for safer and more convenient scheduled queuing at airports looks very promising as we start to travel more in the current complex environment.

92% of shares are owned by institutional investors and many of them have been increasing their holdings recently. Fair Value on Simply Wall Street is 1210p.

Ha ha, slowly slowly catchy monkey will work well for the ISA but I see a short-term opportunity here with this dip. We shall see...

Lots of GROW shares in the ISA but have bought a chunk at 900p in my Trading account today as 900p should look very cheap by the end of this month with the 21st July move to the FTSE 250 and the subsequent increased media and broker coverage.

According to the Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Traffic Report, there are currently 17,678 commercial airports in the world, in other words those which receive airliners, cargo and business aircraft.

And that's just the commercial ones, which would need to have multiple monitoring systems. Smaller airports would benefit too as this is life-saving stuff.
