Look forward to seeing the H2 results next month, I believe the sales figures will better than you have anticipated C2645. We shall see.... I read ( Car Magazine ) also that we are now saving probably 30-50% more on Mercedes / AMG parts with the new deal since Tobias joined, that's a saving.
Lot's of new product updates to look forward to, so looking good from where I am sitting.

Just bagged a few more... looks as if the auto industry had a bumpy ride this week including Daimler, VAG & Ferrari , but AML oversold today IMO. unlike c2645 I have some confidence in this Quarter sales figures. Everything I see and read all very positive ... even Adeem is not a major concern.
Great management team leading new design and technical staff joining from AMG and Bentley.

C2645, I have no reason to lie. By all means call them and check the stock ... Rodger Laing will be pleased to help you I am sure along with the Workshop Manager who may assist you with that big chip on you shoulder.

I popped in to Aston Martin Edinburgh today to enquire how sales were going. Had a pleasant chat with two members of staff who both highlighted the de stocking and sale to order impact over the last 6 months, currently they just can’t get enough stock to meet demand.
Both staff members I spoke to had been with Aston Martin Edinburgh for a number of years and they were very positive on the changes made in the last year along with the DBX launch. Used Astons are selling as soon as they receive them in as trade in also.
It nice to see your data Richard and TP back this up. Sales seem to be going well, let’s hope it’s the same globally.

C2645 you are correct Valkyrie is due in H2, I should have said possibly Q3 ;). I believe you have greatly underestimated Tobias’s operational savings, I can’t quantify as data has not been published and I am sure if I quoted a figure you would questioned how this was worked out.
Q2 results will have bond and interest payments due, this is planned in so nothing new ... we just have to await the sales figures, which you perhaps cautiously underestimate again along with savings. Have a nice evening and top up that glass.

C2645, no idea but I am sure it all counts. It would be nice to quantify... but let’s see what the Q2 result brings and we will have a better idea then.
Regarding Valkyrie, I am sure the whole team understand the importance of launch and quality. Tobias has given a timeframe for customer handover commencing in Q3 so he must have confidence.

I believe we are on target after Q1 results for hitting our 6000 units target, however we will know a great deal more after Q2.
I am hoping that the 30-40% cost savings Tobias has stated in his recent presentations to motoring journalists will contribute towards the bond and interest payments.
I am also looking forward to see the new DBX variants due in Q3 and early 2022 but what I have seen and heard so far the current model is selling very well and as we know received very positive press.
Good to see the positive recent share price movement.
I am sure as has been said when Adeem has moved on this SP will consolidate and move forward.

Looking forward to see the results of the 30-40% cost savings, which has enabled spending on product launches and new infotainment system with Aston Martin user interface and a unique Aston Martin back end that will debut with each model's refresh DBS, DB11 and Vantage.
I don’t believe anyone else could have made such a big impact over 9 months.

Tobias at Q1 Presentation:
“Efficiency in the company is key for us. It’s absolutely key. When I started at the company, there were 400 cars in production at Gaydon to build 12-15 cars a day. Now we have 100 cars in the process. We had 70 assembly line stations. Now we have 23. We’re going to have all cars in one paint shop at St Athan, which is the most efficient way to paint the cars because the paint shop has to run at full throttle.”
