Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Nite, that is some very positive data, hopefully we will see similar stats in other markets in Q1. Where can I ask did you get the data ? Figures like these are just what the market will be looking for to move the SP along. Thumbs up emoji
Capacity is now aligned with demand at cost. Expected wholesale this year 6000 units with DBX making up over half of this and on target. First DBX variant due by the third quarter ..... and second variant next year.....so we should see volume increase with demand. I honestly believe that there will be some positive data coming out in Q1 & Q2 results.
As part of Moers Project Horizon - Tobias Moers: “There's one important topic that I'd like to mention, we are not running wholesales to cover our production capacity. That's one of the most important steps that we took last year. We have right sized our business to demand, not capacity. We are running our manufacturing sites at the same level of efficiency despite the numbers we produce. This is very, very important to know. We are not driven by a capacity which is in place for the future. This is what we are changing with Project Horizon”.
Not sure if posted before, but interesting reading especially when you consider much of America was on lockdown https://www.autonews.com/sales/aston-martin-right-target-just-months-after-dbx-went-sale
Q1 and Q2 results are going to be interesting reading this year.
The data is from https://www.am-online.com/data/manufacturer-insight I believe. As Richard highlighted we seem to be doing better than most,
Hopefully as lockdowns lift and the global vaccine rollout takes affect we shall see a big improvement. I still think APAC will be very promising in Q1 and going forward.
C264 your glass seems half empty this evening, all going well it will be full after Q1 results when we get them.
GLA
Hi Nite, good figures for UK when you consider lock down, hopefully we should see positive numbers in the Q1 report in May. Lets hope Asia lives up to my expectations after all the positive press.
That should sell a few .... great car and lovely scenery.
I think give the guy some slack, he had an awful time in testing due to car issues and this weekend’s yellow flag incidents have just pilled on the pressure. It was good to see him having a few battles out on track, a few more races and laps under his belt is what he needs... Hopefully then if the techs get the car right we will have two cars battling for points.
Again the safety car looked amazing.... I am sure that alone will shift a few sales.
Late Sunday pictures and details.... hopefully a lot more to follow tomorrow.

Totally agree guys, if Lamborghini can do this then Aston Martin with F1, Stroll, Moers and Gregor we are in a positive position to do the same.
Looking forward to seeing the launch of the " Range topper Vantage on Monday" , not sure how much Moers will have had an influence on it.... here's hoping.
If it’s half as good as the safety car... fingers crossed.

Evening Paul, totally agree it’s a great opportunity for AML sharing the Safety Car with Mercedes. Stroll negotiators at their best...
Stroll the brand entrepreneur while letting Moers concentrate his efforts on “Project Horizon”, utilising all his skills and experience to create “one of the pre-eminent luxury car brands in the world”.
Looking forward to to the start of the F1 season, like never before.... even if it’s just to watch the safety car :o) All that brand promotion, good luck Seb and Lance .... You are AMF1
Hi Jazim, some more Stroll magic in Bahrain, Aston Martin great iconic brand.

Soooooo cool, great marketing..... Hats off to Stroll.
Very sad day for all those involved at St Athan, hopefully they are well looked after and can find further opportunities soon.
As a shareholder, I thank them for all their great work and hope those that wish to can return soon.
Good luck
Lovely pictures Blue-Sky, great find. Vantage looks awesome.
Totally agree GT, with all the positive news this week and great F1 launch I would the expect a more positive response to the SP shortly.... all going to plan.
Have a good weekend all., think I will be watching the F1 launch again and the CNBC / Bloomberg Stroll interviews again :0)
BBang, great info on that Bloomberg link. All very positive.... sports cars sold out till September. Ahead of schedule on the transition to 10k units 2B revenue and 500m EBITDA.
Have to add the F1 car looks soooo much better than I had even hoped for ( was a bit concerned we could get it wrong). Also my 7 year old is also so pleased there is the pink highlights, have to agree it’s better than the yellow, and hopefully will be on the merchandise soon.
Great day all round.
Quote of the day : Aston Martin
“ All the experience I have of building some of the best luxury businesses around the world will be brought into this business.”
“ But its roots and its heritage and about 99% of its employees are most definitely British."
Good on him
Very interesting Robinhen, so when would you expect your next issue to be delivered... I wonder if it’s F1 or Product related. Look forward to finding out...
