This has happened before and is normal. The administrators will finally get around to the stock trade settlements and approve the CREST transactions. Equiniti will then get the funds and release them to you. It took a couple of months last time this happened. There is no reason why you wont get your money.

This happened to us with Carillion and Equiniti. The shares got suspended before settlement. It all got sorted a couple of months later. So relax, if you sold shares, you will get the proceeds after the administrators give the go ahead. If you bought shares you will be told to pay up but will not get any shares.

Saw a movie on Amazon Prime recently called "The Accountant" with Ben Affleck in it. A company was doing exactly what CAKE did.

My worst ever investment. Many thousands down, I bought at the peak when it went IPO, around 500 pence I think! Fell for the massive hype surrounding graphene.

Goes back in the fridge till it finally gets sold. With the level of preservatives etc that goes in to these kind of mass production products, these things last forever.

I have a message from Equiniti that all the suspended trades of CLLN have now been cleared and the funds will be released soon. That is very good news!

This is brilliant news!! I hope a bidding war starts but I suspect the max would be 15� that anyone would go to. Still so much better than what Murdoch was offering!

When was it 250p ?? I bought in 2011 and it was over 13� even then. It has been a really good performer and good dividend payer. I am just frustrated with the number of take overs of good performing companies that I am long term invested in. ARM was another that I had long term invested in massively.

I doubt very much that a remortgage of a personal property would be allowed to buy in shares in a business. The only way to do it would be to lie on the application that it is for home improvements or something.

Once again the hedge funds have proved that they have done the right thing. AA is one of the most heavily shorted stock
