Have to agree with the dividend re investment programme
My wife holds 150000 shares
And inspite of my protestations she lets Lloyds reinvest the divi in shares
A complete rip off in my humble opinion

It all turned out ok in the end

If you have it paid to your account
It takes three days from the time it arrives in your account for it to be actioned as a transfer to your current account
This does not explain why others have their dividend on the day it is due

You are missing the point
Why does it take Lloyds
Four days to pay out the dividend
When other share dealing sites do it the day it is due
Not Four days later
If you move any sale proceeds from your share dealing account it will take three days
These are cleared funds and should be paid on the day they are due

It’s not that I need the money
It’s the principal of being treated like a second class investor
We will pay you when we like not when it’s due
