Some solid early morning posts hopefully puts things into perspective for the doubters. Really can't understand those that say they hold but constantly bash the share...that said the early morning posters clearly understand big things are happening with OMI. Onwards and upwards....:)

I am surprised we are in the red to be honest however as i mentioned earlier, the sp will be much higher in the coming weeks/months imo...just have to take the rough with the smooth for now.

Sometimes it is better to ignore the noise and look at the bigger picture. There will be negative and positive people on these boards with many people having agendas based on their investment strategy. There are also a few genuine investors...lol. Like all social media best not to take it too seriously imo and stand back. The way i see it now is quite simply OMI are looking way better than before and that is what will drive the sp upwards over time......

It is easy to be wary of Brad et al after the last few years, however you have to look at where we are now. Yes i have been very frustrated with the way things have gone in the past but OMI now have 100% of Anza and drilling results are proving the solid nature of the resource. I remember when Newmont came into the picture and how the sp rocketted as sentiment was shifting up the gears. To me it seems a carbon copy where sentiment is increasing now after being in the doldrums for so long. Things have changed for the better with OMI and the ride up is just starting but you have to stay on board to get the big returns. Each to their own however.

The MMs have many tricks up their sleeves to get shares from people. They just raise the spread and restrict volume trades. It can be difficult to time trades and with the positive nature of OMI now, it can be tricky to buy back at a lower price if trying to trade the ups and downs. I have tried to trade at times but invariably i get it wrong hence somtimes it is just better to hold for much higher prices imo. OMI has changed fundamentally in a big positive way and so the trend is definitely upwards now.

The key reason to sell just 4 milion is to honor their 2 for 1 promise so i dont see it as a negative if they sell just 4 million. If they re list before the end of March then the 2 for 1 option is off the table anyway and they can still sell the remaining 4 million at a later time once relisted. Again we wont know until the next RNS which is imminent

It does make sense to sell 4 million and keep 4 million aside to keep their promise of a 2 for 1 without the need to worry about going over the 8 million cap that PPP have. As ever all speculation from us and we await the next RNS to tell the next steps forward. For what it is worth i do believe Lunn will get this moving and unsuspended very soon and there will be no need to honor the 2 for 1 option.

There will always be sellers trading following good news and this allows MMs to collect shares to sell on for a higher price. A sustained and gradual upwards trajectory is way more favorable imo to allow OMI to multibag over time. Hold on to the winners, as OMI is now, and over time the rewards will be way higher. There will be a lot of eyes on OMI now and deals will be done and so adding to the positive narrative presently playing out.

Another solid and detailed RNS from a rejuvinated Brad. OMI now definitely on an upwards path. The momentum will build over the coming weeks/months and the sp will be much higher than now imo. With the positive newsflow now, demand for OMI will increase with the sp multi bagging imo. OMI reached close to 40p from memory a few years ago and i do expect this will be reached and suspassed in the weeks/months ahead.

I would say the recent data has ranged from good to excellent. Not every hole is going to be spectaculor but the overall picture is what counts and that is what will propel the sp in a big way. This will happen as drilling progresses in 2025. Brad knows his geology and clearly understands the geography. It makes more sense imo to just group results together to get an overall picture and stop the constant whinging when we get an 'unspectaculor' drill result.

Yes we have suffered for the last few years and i do agree that Brad could have done many things differently but now with Anza back 100% and drilling progressing i really do see a big positive future now for OMI. The constant complaining about this and that by some is tiring. It does feel like a playground here at times and some are just stuck in a never ending negative loop. Those that bought at the lower levels took a calculated risk and it is now paying off.

My thoughts are that most here probably have a fair bit of scepicism about PPP, understandably, now with what we know and being suspended for so long. That said SL has come up with a good option with the Dutch Auction and i do feel so many eyes are now on him so he will do what is right for shareholders, otherwise he will most likely face a big backlash etc etc and no doubt he fully understands this. I also feel once the auction is over many things will fall into place including the accounts sign off and then re list and the upwards move will commence. Looking good going forward imo.

Now OMI is in play in a big way, trading OMI will be very risky having to contend with the spread, MM tactics and many more buyers both big and small. With hindsight i could have sold at close to 10p and bought back now....but that is hindsight. Majority of people will get their trading wrong and get caught out, so for me it is better to wait for a much bigger move up before taking some off the table. I expect to see the sp in double figures soon enough. News could still drop before the New Year and with Brad ramping things up now, it is so risky to be out of OMI now imo.

Clearly the grades we got today are classed as high grade. So great news....onwards and upwards....:)

Well i'm not a gold expert but google gives this answer....."Yes, a gold grade of over 1.5 g/t is generally considered good for open pit mining, as it falls within the range of what can be economically viable for large-scale open pit operations, especially when considering factors like low operating costs and large ore bodies". So the results today are good imo and we also got an an increase in the shareholding of a Canadian institutional inverstor.

The sp drop is not a surprise as the expectation was 5 g/t or thereabouts. The drilling operation is going very well so this is just a blip down and the de-rampers are quick to spout their usual negatives. OMI is a different beast and the sp will be way higher over the coming weeks imo. One to hold and buy the dips imo.

Seems things are so messed up with who did what and who to trust....the latest rns explained some things but raises more questions....I hope we do come out of this and PPP remains a going concern...I guess we just wait for the next roll of the dice....SL is in charge now...I hope he does the right thing for shareholders now.

PPP should have the decency to issue an RNS to clarify the situation. Shareholders have been left in the dark for too long about various things since the suspension. Now there is so much speculation but no one really knows what is happening. Very poor comms from PPP. Shareholders deserve better......

I'm sure today's placing caught many off guard. I was expecting one maybe in January...but it makes sense for OMI to get the placing out of way now with the sp so strong. The sp has recovered strongly since the open and shows the big demand for OMI now. Amazing how quickly OMI has transformed since getting the project 100% back. Results due any time and i expect double figures in the sp very quickly now the placing is out of the way.

I do still things will work out here. Just need PPP to issue another RNS to clarify things and not leave shareholders in the dark speculating.
