AGM on Friday with a live Q & A session on the following Monday at 10am...Would expect some positive news any time now. The sp has started to stir the last couple of days...expecting a solid move up with news expectations and the usual traders starting to load up.
Indeed Impecunious2, the lack of news has just killed the sp and i'm in no doubt that the drilling news etc is very very good but Newmont/Agnico have full control and want it under wraps until they are ready to move to buy out Anza. Brad and the other directors don't need to buy shares as they have awarded themselves options. They know there will be a buy out at some point in the future imo so are just treading water until that time. Brad will always bring out some snippets of news when it suits him so i do expect some positive news going into the AGM and webinar...That should boost the sp in the very short term. Ho hum..............
Agree Rob1967. I really had high hopes here but if anything since Newmont took over drilling operations, things have got worse news wise. Also clearly the directors are out for themselves and Brad just spins the news and we fall for it time and time again. I do think the sp is pretty much at the low point now and will build upwards as we await the AGM and webinar. As usual, Brad will likely drop a positive RNS soon enough and we will all be happy temporarily as the sp shoots back up. And then we probably will not get much news for a few months and the sp will suffer yet again. Very disappointed with the way things have transpired with OMI. If it was up to me i would kick all of the present directors out...they have been absolutely hopeless in creating or maintaining any shareholder value.
What a crazy day yesterday was. The placing took me by surprise to be honest but it now means BOIL is now fully funded and in a much stronger position. No doubt informed bigger players would have known about the placing in advance so probably sold before with the aim of getting back in at the placing price. I even managed to grab a few more myself a bit below 12p. The floor is now set imo and i sense investors are now starting to accumulate with big news due over the coming weeks/months. The sp is now in an uptrend as we await positive news. Boil could very well multipy many times so getting in at these levels is a no brainer imo.
Groundhog day/month/year with OMI as ever...Brad is as useless as ever in terms of generating shareholder value with OMI...The sp will more than likely start to spring to life near the AGM and going into the Webinar when miraculously Brad will drop an RNS with drilling news etc to make his life easier at that time. It is obvious the Directors of OMI are out for themselves and so we as shareholders have to accept the way things are. The value with OMI will happen eventually in a big way imo but when is another question. With all that said we could get some unexpected news that rockets the sp...you never know.
Just bought a few more. With Gas at high levels and so much demand for it, Boil are in a strong position to get a very good deal whether it is a farm in or an outright sale. I feel things are about to hot up so had to buy more before big news lands which must be close imo.
Agree CDF1, a gradual increase in the sp is preferable to the sudden spikes and dumps imo. This should give us a more steady upwards path whilst we wait for big news that should catapult the sp upwards in a big way. I feel that big moment is not that far away. So better to be in now imo whilst the sp is at these low levels and just wait. Big news can drop anytime i feel.
An outright sale would be great imo and this is an option Boil are happy to go for as indicated in the webinar. Boil is an explorer not a producer. Boil really do now all the Aces. I'm really glad i took the time to listen to the webinar. So much positive info from the 'horse's mouth' so to speak. The sp is peanuts compared to where it will be in a short span of time. Things are really going to hot up now, and with the warrants all gone, the sky is the limit. Looking to do another top up on Monday. Can't wait......:)
Many positives for BOIL Jarv55 and simply they have a resource that is in demand and they are happy to sell to the right bidder. With so much news due the fundamentals are looking very strong imo and so buying now at these levels makes good sense. The present share price is small change imo
I started buying in a few days ago and have been buying more as the sp drops. I listened to the recent presentation and really have a strong belief that the sp will be way higher in a very short time period. Gas is very much in demand and Boil are happy to sell up if the right opportunity comes along. The sp has come back down from it's recent highs and so is becoming very oversold. There will always will be people trying to talk the sp down so they can get in at a lower level and talking about placings etc. Either way the sp will be much higher in a short space of time imo. I do think the sp will turn back up very soon and will catch many out.
AGM 2nd December, Webinar 5th December, so no doubt Brad will be releasing some positive news for shareholders maybe a few days before to pump up shareholder sentiment, same old process. Also with warrants expiring on the 7th of December will we get any big news in time for them to be exercised? Either way Brad will have to deliver some positives in the coming days/weeks.
This is the difficulty the Fed has to balance Rob1967...High rates to curb inflation with the problem of the debt the US have....the rate increases you mention would be positive to markets in general but we just have to wait and see what is decided.
Good post Rob1967. Agree with all your points. Hope Brad is looking in here....and realises that good sp movements most likely will only come from Anza news unless Argentina/Brazil news happens to be very very good that is. Also tend to agree the US will probably have a couple more 0.75% rises at most and then pivot to keeping rates on hold and later in 2023 start QE as you mention. I do also expect gold to be more favorable mid 2023
I think the way the sp has performed over the last year or so with very little positive news, many were thinking of buying below 10p if the chance arose, however Friday's RNS came out of the blue and wrong footed many. If Brad can start rolling out the news more frquently and not just on a Tuesday then i feel the sp should gain more support and move upwards in a sustainable way. A lot more people posting on a Satuday is a positive sign that things do seem to coming together now. I think those trying to trade the ups and downs will lose out if Brad can get his act together. All looking much more positive imo and i do feel there is a good chance of those 25p warrants being exercised.
I think if Brad wants to get those warrants exercised then he will do all he can to get the sp to where it needs to be. He has an incentive to do so, so i do feel we will get more frequent positive info and hopefuly a much better sp over the coming days/weeks.
Yeah Brad will need to keep the momentum going so that the sp can maintain current gains and build upon them... so i am expecting a lot more positive news and more offen now...hopefully sentiment can finally start to get much more positive here going forward
Nice to get a positive RNS from Brad and on a Friday. Are we going to get more RNS's on random days...good way to wrong foot many? Expecting more news over the coming weeks at random times to keep people on their toes. Can Brad get the sp over 25p to get those warrants exercised...clearly will be a big bonus to OMI if he can...all to play for now.
I do think there is more positive news that we are not privy too...only for the eyes of Newmont/Agnico and so the sp just suffers constantly. Very disappointed with Brad. He talks the talk but never seems to deliver anything positive for shareholders. Even on the new projects he has invested in and has more control over, the newsflow is seemingly non existent. Simply though, Newmont/Agnico are going ahead with phase 2 and so they clearly like what they are finding....with this in mind i just can't figure out why the market does not seem to see this as a big positive and adjust the sp upwards accordingly. To my mind, with what we know and have with OMI, the sp should be at least in the 20s now imo. Either way the sp is getting way undervalued and must be due a bounce back up soon enough.
