I don't know what the scaremongers about unable to find employees. Before the EU there was a general system to licence to work in.Germany should know a lot about that because they employed 3,000,000 guest workers from Turkey, and Morocco mostly. They were able to stay as long as they had a job. In fact it was the guest workers who largely created the German 'economic miracle, as it was termed, the German's themselves did not do the dirty jobs. So there is always a supply of migrant workers provided there are jobs for them. But like Germany we would have to issue permits to work, and the permit ceases to have any legal right to stay if its holder loses their job and cannot find another in a specific number of weeks

Thinkers put me right on this. A dividend certainly on AIM shares it is rare, if ever,paid by a company these days. But, in the beginning of shares it was the anticipated dividend which underlined the SP.

So have shares have become divorced from their true beginnings and we now bet purely upon the value of the company, if it were sold, and how much that would relate to the cost of buying back its shares by its purchaser. It is mooted because the SP has been so cheap for so long that people were able to pick up shares for a song. For a few thousands you could be sitting on hundreds of thousands of shares. Not long ago these were sub 1 pps . That means at the height of the panic buying yesterday some people could pick up a half penny per share over and above what they paid for them.nice little payday for them. But, they have squeezed themselves out of the market now. It is just technical nothing to do with the expectations of HH., it is to do with making a quick bob or two

This is a 150 day test programme, my reckoning it will go on until November. They seem to have slowed down because they want a larger pump for Portland, although they have carried out the shorter flows (unless they are going to repeat them with a larger pump) but they already have better results from Portland than they go last time. Seaweed seems to suggest that the will be reporting on Portland again at the back end of next week.

Can't see how the FC can refuse because if it was Oka before then with nothing changed there is no reason to withdraw the permission/ They exploiting weak government which is trying to be all things to all people. With Brexit approaching the country desperately needs its own oil. However, a hard Brexit will undoubtedly hit the £ which will be devalued for a while until we recover. Ideally Britain needs its own oil and for them to be exploited by UK only companies. If that happens the government can then manipulate the price of oil within these shores, they have also to sort out gas and sever the link between gas and oil price

Didn't somebody say there was a crane at the well head ? If it is there and working, then there will be no flow tests taking place. At a guess I would suggest that they are removing the perforated piping in the Portland section, or they intend to drill a larger hole ( I think unlikely) in which case they will need all of the previous piping out of the well

Are they allowed to have oil tankers at night at HH ? Often the PP stipulates the hours what they can and cannot do in that respect. Effectively they could fill up on-site storage overnight and remove it by tanker in daylight, effectively continuous removal from the well, so it makes no odds
