These boards bring all sorts together. Can be both good and bad. Good as different views are shared, bad because some take other people’s views as gospel for either investing or not investing (investing being loosely used here, I don’t anyone really invests in AIM stocks).

GGP is a simple stock - they’re drilling for sh*t loads of gold. They either find it or they don’t. Not one of these “lovely folks” here has the faintest idea what the company will find and whether this will succeed or not. The good thing about GGP is that it has a number of what looks to be (on the surface at least, from the work done so far) good prospects. So really, you don’t need to be a genius to see the upside and the downside here. And no one, absolutely no one, can tell what will happen to the SP here until that RNS drops in.

I managed to add at 1.43 a not much, only 92k shares, but even that took me 30 min.

Does anyone else find IG absolutely awful? I can’t buy even £1k worth of shares and when (after about ten attempts) it gives me a quote it’s at 1.5p. What a c88ppy broker. Need to switch ASAP. Anyone recommend a good one?

ECR is a c88p hole. Less than 1g pt. that’s not a discovery, that’s just you being mugged in investing in a loser. How about 120g pt, how does that sound to you?

Placees don’t care, they most likely hedged the position at 2.30 before the placing news. I doubt very much anyone would give UKOG £5m or £2m with some if not wholly selling their positions forward or some other Hedging mechanism.

So much talk about market didn’t like the news, news was still great etc. I am in here but we must understand that the share price went to 2p based on amazing Havieron first hole results. Of course some of the increase inSP was a premium on what people expected hole 2, 3, and 4 to come up with. They didn’t come up with same grades people expected so there is no longer a premium on SP. Based on current results I think 1.50 to 2p is prob fair price. More to come no doubt but there will be a period of not much going on.

Burmese - that would be a story to tell your grandchildren then :). Sometimes you stumble on something which you really should not let go. That’s GGP for me. I don’t have a very low average, but 6/7p would do me nicely. Hopefully the good news continues to come and this era there (and beyond)

2p is the beginning. This will smash everyone’s price target if it continues to find the same grades at Havieron and if EG proves successful. What a journey. Reminds me of SOLG and RKH many years ago

If Havieron comes up good (similar grades to Hole 1 for H2, H3 and H4) I think you’d be silly to sell this share. That’s effectively a huge underpinning to the share price, with massive exploration upside from EG. Maybe we really have hit the jackpot with this one....
