I’ve just been reading other producing miners financial statements and RNSs. Average production costs is approx $900. Now it doesn’t take much to understand that with gold prices at $1700 that leaves $800 gross profit. Even if you halve this, and discount it, Simone will have to pay a lot of money for that gold if they want it. Not really sure why some are stressed here, just read/research and make yourself comfortable. If you still get cold feet, by all means sell. Do what’s best for you. But please stop comparing GGP to Sxx, or others. GGP is unlikely any other companies and they have found the mother load (soon to be confirmed , hopefully) so don’t just sit there and worry about things, take action and make yourself comfortable with your investment (if you haven’t already)!

Viking - oh some will for sure. But that’s what creates a market. You can’t have a stock with no one selling, market can’t function that way. You just want people to see the value in GGP and have more buying pressure. If the find is anything like they talk about (20m oz and above), then this will be the investment of the year (excluding the crazy pharmas which are one trick pony’s and valuations based on thin air)

Personal circumstances. The key is to do what is best for you, and not get carried away too much. Asses the information at hand yourself and don’t listen to me, or Mr X because mine and his objective may be different to yours. Risk appetitive May also be different, etc etc.

Future - there is not a “one answer fits all”. I’ll hold to the end, but then it suits me and my mortgage doesn’t depend on it. Some will take small profits, some will sell out completely, some will buy more, etc etc. It all depends on your personal fercuc

Mushroom. Firstly, most people split their buys to ensure best price. The larger the buy, the more likely the price given will be higher. Most here (I’m sure of it) would buy slowly over the course of day or days, £5k here, £10k there etc. So I wouldn’t worry about average trade value. The higher this goes, the bigger the trades will get (everything is relative to the market capitalisation).

Kevin - of course you can trade. But if you had the funds for such margins (20 times? That’s steep), then I’d rather buy the shares. The only reason I don’t do spreads on AIM is that if bad news hits, it can literally annihilate your capital and more.

Kevin - that’s pretty reckless. A huge tree shake, or games being played, and you could lose your pants. Who’s your S/B with anyway. Find that a huge bet, certainly IG doesn’t normally offer these for small cap co like this.

Zoros - considering he’s used so many incorrect (some unknown) assumptions, then id take his/her “valuation” with a pinch of salt.

What amazes me is that no one is actually adding any “strategic” value to their potential T/O calcs. Does anyone think NC wants to work/share this resource with any other majors? If not, would they be willing to pay more to ensure deal is done and dusted? How much would the 30% share be worth to them to ensure the whole resource is theirs? What I wouldn’t want is those deals which pay in instalments over a 2/3 year period based on specific criteria.

Chippy - 2020 is GGP's year. I personally don't care. who buys or sells, as long as those results keeping coming. SP always catches up with the value at the end. However, for those looking in and wanting a piece of the pie, please don't risk anymore than you can afford to lose.
