That’s an excellent finish by Val.

Key points for me are:
Pretty well funded so no more fundraising (over £2m in cash, which is not bad for a circa £5m mkt cap company).
New management and a hugely and more streamlined different approach.
News imminent which even if half reasonable will take this to significant figures.
Tiny market cap, so moves fast. Reached 23p recently before hand brakes were put on.

A sniff of good news and this will be a £20/30 million market cap company (526 and ones the current market cap).

For those complaining about fundraising - raising funds as the SP is going up is a no brainier. Yes it means some dilution,
But if the cash is adding value to the company, I don’t see an issue with it. Raising funds for lower and lower SPs is an issue, which since Suzie has taken over is not a problem. Ultimately, cash is needed to support the company.
Precious management abused that power. Val is for all intents and purposes a new company now.

It’s called position taking by the way. That’s all. And why shouldn’t the price be 10p? You have pharmas with £50m market cap and virtually no cash. Val is barely £5 today with circa £2.2m cash.

Ideal scenario would be to have this close to 20p before news lands. Then hopefully it'll add another 20p. I will personally reassess my holding if and when we reach 40p. Here is to Val doing us all a favour and reaching £20m market cap in September

we know how quickly this moves, and when it moves it moves big. It took 3 days to get from 6p to 24p before the hand breaks were put on not long ago. With a £4m mkt cap, I expect a minimum 5 bagger on this in the next few months. 10 would be preferable though, and £40m mkt cap is not exactly high if they come back with great results in September.

Val is definitely under the radar. Which was was great for many here to quietly add before news and the various folk descend here. £4m mkt cap with plenty of cash in the bank for a long while, and with the potential to be 5/10 bagger in the not too distant future (obviously if we get decent results), then you’d be a fool not to have dab in this company. I think I’ve overdone it here and bought far too many, but let’s hope it pays off

Hillybilly - do they not have a minimum standard of English grammar where you worked/work? I think it's more likely you take the medicine of your supposed Pharma employer than actually work for them (if they make medicine for the challenged mind)

@Andym - yes, I sold when the rest are going down. I sold this morning at 74.5p. You'd say my sale was actually timed ok considering this is now at 70p to sell, so definitely not insane, and definitely not a minim holding (that's all relative anyway but i had more than £10k worth of this dogsh**e at average 83p).

@Samolly2 - I have no idea what you are on about. I didn't blame anyone else, but I am within my right to vent my frustration at those in charge for being useless? There is no better way to describe this company and it’s BOD. I’ve just taken a loss today selling 70% of what I held here as have absolutely no confidence in this company. If they couldn’t sell tests in the middle of a pandemic desperate for tests, then these guys have no hope as tests become better.... a bunch of losers if you ask me

WHL - you know why I think you’re telling porkies? You said “if Solg doesn’t see a 30% rise on Monday I’ll eat my hat” - well, I can’t imagine what news would only take this up only 30%. This either goes to 80/90p, it the news (if any) is nothing to write home about and we will see the usual 10%.

I guess not long to wait now to know whether you’ll hide and switch to your normal account, or whether you’ll get pats on the back for your amazing “insight”...:)

Right back - I assume you know what spreadbetting is, therefore I assume you’re also aware that Slater’s stake in Val is through spreadbetting? Different to owning millions of shares. Can’t be bothered to look through all the RNSs, but simple logic tells me your statement that many hold millions here is incorrect. Only two months ago, Val had a total of 8 million or so shares. Unless the fundraisers were through retail investors, very much doubt many hold millions here. Not that it matters, but it’s a bit of a ramp. I should be happy for you to ramp, I’m invested here, but I don’t think it needs ramping. It’s simple - good results will make this a multibagger...

Rightback - who hold millions and how do you know that? I find that highly unlikely (they may have held millions prior to consolidation, but with 52m shares in issue, absolutely no retail investors hold millions). At least be accurate with your "optimism".
