I wonder why they would be Downsizing from the Oldham Rd Depot?
Rumour has it (in property agency circles) that JS has tasked Jones Lang LaSalle with seeking a buyer in the US for 18 assets. apparently named parties only under NDA. they've not done any leasebacks for about 10 years. What could be up?

how does this fit with a company about to be savaged by PE?

i did speed read, but i think the grumble was on the USO losses, no clarity on if those losses were stemmed if RM's parcel side would be profitable.
does anyone know if parcels are profitable for RM? reading posts on this BB some seem to be suggesting that they have had to undercut the competition. the SP indicates that investors believe the growth in parcels is good news. any clarity would be useful!

size of contract remains unclear. dont think this is the big news but maybe i am wrong
clearly not the 550m contract
We have not had them pay rent today. have had another owner we know confirm same. will be interesting to see the limits of the moratorium being tested
consensus in property circles is that gov extending moratorium on rent collection till Jan. if you are exposed to propco shares write to your MP explain that not just greedy private landlords wealth is at stake but many millions that have their pensions in property. and while youre at it mention CVA's...
does anyone know if they are exposed to River Island. apparently working on a CVA?
so chaps, any sympathy yet for greedy landlords? you are now in the same boat
warik
your language us reprehensible. kindly stop or find another venue for your exoletives
ok. Nigel ok? :)
notsohappychappy,
we understand that very well but we won't bear all the pain as per other cva's which have singled out the LL (new look being a good recent example). it needs to be shared equally between all parties. Bondholders, Local Authority and LL. Also don't forget that We The Greedy Landlords have many millions invested where DEBS were directly benefited by way of cash incentives, fit-out contribution, sale and leaseback etc. hence we won't take kindly to being done over even at risk of Debs going bust. basically if we keep on rolling over that's the end of commercial real estate as we know it, and like it or not, that is a vital part of the economy. no investor confidence= no investment =no construction= no jobs =no money
Landlord action group formed. watch this space. Nigel, tell your friends at debs to wake up..
surprisingly tame for full rant mode.. I don't think it matters who the backer is the big four always find a way to do cva.. but this time the LL feel they have had enough. the bondholders and local councils can't be the winners. either we share the pain equally by way of debt reduction and rates abatement or they go bust and we all get nuffink.
why lol.
typing before thinking isn't a virtue. no news on cva, genius. if they had called the cva obvs they would not have paid the March quarters rent but landlord committee forming to foil cva. we will fight the travesty and it will be nasty. we have 100m invested. the upshot is that this forum will be taken off the air as and when debs goes under.. you will need to get a job
yes. I have been telling you that on various occasions. that's why I find some of the posts here quite ridiculous. but then I am a GREEDY landlord
Debs have paid for Quarter with no issues
