As inmo neither wants a uk oil and gas industry, Until that changes and we invest in overseas assets / Then i am afraid this company will continue its decent into oblivion. I think they are refering to the cash on hand before the Tailwind deal. As i posted earlier we would have also been able to generate income of approximagtly twenty million in interest alone. So this really is a sorry state of affairs inmv,

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing , but this deal really hasnt added shareholder value. So they need to do something. Maybe offload some assets and free up some cash to purchase some overseas assets would help.

This still beggars the question as to why the largest holders voted the Tailwind deal through. As I see it we would be trading at a good fifty percent higher together with four hundred plus million in the bank earning at least twenty million in interest alone.

So why??????

Personally I would be surprised if the next RNs is possitive. You only have to look at the recent trades this week and see that someone is selling large into any rise. I maybe wrong,but that to me is not a possitive.

Hope your right Newkotb re the hedging. Its a little odd that Jefferies analysis does not seem to take this into account. Hopefully the results will shed a clear light on this and we get a rerating on the back of it.

I think he has already delivered and will continue to do so. What i find baffling is the negative stance from lth. Myself included at times. The fly in the ointment as far as i am concerned is the lack of accredidaive deals to propell the share price forward. Having said that if we are to be asset stripped in terms of dividends then that will compensate inmo. Especially if we can get a minimum of thirty pence in 2024.
