O well, I'm in profit... Won't get to top up with a drop. All the negatively on this board and the company holds true, is still growing, has excellent margins and is moving to a reputable exchange. I like that I'm a "chance". Gambling is only a problem if your losing :)
Really, coz I figured the damage from the shorter has been done. They have to buy to close there shorts and good news will cause a short squeeze. So you won't have much chance to get in, should that happen. The guys with big pockets will always have better access to information and the markets. No matter how fair you keep things. I bought in thinking I could lose half on paper or gain half in short order. Either if I can a paper loss, I believe its a good company and any problems are temporary and it will recover in the next few years. So I don't mind holding or even topping up should it slide more. If I have the funds at the time of course. To me, this seemed a good entry point... At least today given the gamble of a better than predicted Christmas. Most traders trade the rumour and get out on news. So even if its bad news on Thursday I suspect shorter will close out and buy, keeping the price levelish.
Just my opinion
Can't say I follow chart patterns much these days. I used to use them with the odd high frequency type trade with oil futures a good decade ago.until that trader kept loading the order book to stack out stops and just ruined people.
But these levels have definitely been support and no harm in them holding. So I think its a decent gamble. Thursday will bring the news and that will be decisive on sp direction.
Yeah this share is the largest holding in my pension pot and I've been picking up share in them for years now. So it hurts when the div is so low and they could be better!
They are a successful bank, I mean they are the largest UK mortgage lender I think... Lloyd's share price is all about the UK economy.
I remember last year when the div was cancelled and they said, don't worry we'll make it up to you! ... I expected pennies not fractions of pence. Now you just feel a special div would be taken by the market as not knowing what to do with their money. Its a bank, we want a steady income and steady inflation beating s/p. At least i do... I could rant but its progress I guess
Well, so far they have converted 13m followers of their players into 500,000 of their own dedicated followers. That's 3.8462% of 13m.
So if they had the same conversation to the paid service (3.8462%} that's 19,231. At £4.99 that's £95, 962.69 or something like that a month.
I think it's worth sticking around to find out how they do. I hope they make maths fun!
Very nice sonic, great notes.
I suspect the soros fund as I was in an aim company over 10 years ago now that had the soros fund involved. They had a large holding and never mentioned crossing each percentage point let alone going below 3% they just went from a massive holding to zero. A bit naughty of them.
You just have to see a seller as a buying opportunity. Be patient and wait for the jump up in price when they've gone. At least that's how I see it. I've made good money in the past doing just that.
Nice article that one. I liked the last bit the most, that made me smile.
"Guild’s share price has been caught up in the wider sell-off tech shares this year, down from 8p to 5.75p. But if the company can keep up the strong progress it has made over the past year, and the esports market continues to power forward, that price may soon seem something of a bargain."
If they told everyone the value, then that would affect other deals. Much like most companies don't like pay being discussed amongst employees. It would be used as leverage for squeezing the boss for more money. Somethings are sensitive. No doubt as time moves on and they become bigger and bigger in name. Your ability to leverage bigger sponsorship deals will happen. You don't need companies coming to you and saying company X only paid £xmillion or £xmillion etc
Mmm I love a subway sandwich, make mine a chicken tikka, Tommy tomatoes, peppers, onions, sweetcorn and Southwest sauce mmm tasty toasted with some cheese. Good sign they can do deals and have contacts to make more... Hungry now
