Another example shows how it is absolutly vital that our relations with the local communities are well defined before anything start. Mansur repeatedly said " a mine without access is not a mine"
Never mind the grade or the increased resource. We know for a very long time the tremendous prospects of KSK. What I am more concerned is about Tony our CEO . I mentioned here a number of times before and repeat I believed Tony had run out of puff. It would have been better for everyone if Tony had surrendered his position to someone else for some time now.
I am not trying to belittle him at all whatsoever, because I have heard that works connected to Kalimantan can be very taxing. But I am concerned that he is running on empty and when someone run on empty that person usually run for himself.
This is my view, hopefully I will be proven wrong.
Spot on Coyote. Most People have not yet realised what Asiamet (KLG) new 30 years ago. Kalimantan is the most under prospected land in Indonesia and has some of the largest minerals deposits in the world. In fact you name any resource it is there somewhere on the island in vast quantity. The whole of Kalimantan will become hot property once Asiamet get going and keep expanding KSK resources. If we can lead the way on how it can share equitably we will become successful and the smart money will start flying in. The reason being that there will probably be no nuclear devices targets on the island.
Mount Teide right move..retained one share ... to see what else I can learn...
The truth to be said is that even Companies like Oxiana or even Freeport could not make it work for us... as for investors for now it is better that they do not put too much hope in Darryn . I think that we will also find him that a mover and shaker he is not .

"we will not be allowed to create an island of riches in a sea of poverty" This is my take on KSK or how Mansur puts it
"our exploration efforts and our community efforts are one and the same"
Putting this in real practice and potentially witness the hurdles be removed. If one reads the article one could possibly see a reason why this is not yet in place and that Tony is still paying only lips service to our responsibilities . The (new?) Mgt has to embrace both equally the commercial and social objectives of Asiamet.
Relevant that one of the 2 Companies in Bardorf exemple is Tigers Realm (with tony Manini in charge) ?
Tony must go!
After Stephen, James, Dominic, Peter , so yes you guessed right , the next appointment comes from the ex old boys OX club.
Their record speak for itself. They have done little to advance Asiamet cause and I dare say that Darryn is of the same mould. Tony may be pleased with this new recruit because he think that he can now rely on Darryn to send the show on the road. He is fooling himself and us. Darryn is just ok but a go getter is not. Asiamet's rocket remain stuck on the ground and will require maximum force for lift off.
I mentioned here with the arrival of Tony that Tony was not O.Hegarthy. Tony was not the power behind Oxiana success. I mentioned also from the very beginning that I found Tony not convincing. He needed time to prove himself and be given a fair go. But now it is definitely clear that he is not the person who can drive Asiamet to reach its full potential.

Note how enthusiastically Steve talks about what else is in store...Ringen, Volcano, Kalang, Baroi, Mansur, Tengah, Tumbang Hoi +++
Remember patience is the key to success here. Nothing else will do.
Most Investors do not know the first thing about this venture.
For 30 years at KSK the motto has remain the same.
"there is no need to look but to find"
There is a very subtle difference. We do not have to look because it is already there , simply concentrate all the efforts to find it and we will.
So for investors this means that they do not need to keep looking as they already found it.
They just need patience.
Good luck to all.
It keeps me confused why People become Asiamet shareholders and yet fail to recognize its potential .
As for you Tony, please demonstrate more optimism. Show a truly positive attitude as it is known as being contagious... it may even have a beneficial effect on the share price.
Before this recent deal you only had blue sky but now you are under an umbrella. The ball is in your court:
49/51 is it going to be a glass half full or half empty?
Go Tony or Tony go?
Please show more enthusiasm.
We look at Ashish and can see that he is full of ambition and really success driven. So why do you look deflated by comparison?
We were there first so it is imperative that you go into battle to hold our privileged position. Need you to have all your wits sharpened to defend what is left of Asiamet shareholders' interest.
Don't think that your job is done . Never ever forget that KSK is not BKM !
Good luck.
Hi Cnews
Had to change my email and it would not let me log in again.
I Like the spin you put on my answer. I actually was worried i stretched the friendship a bit.
In Asia, dragons are known to be treasure guardian.

Wish I had a rational answer for you but I don't.
Could there could be one ? One steeped in folklore maybe? It is said that children do not learn from fairy stories that dragons exist. They just know they exist .
