As someone else noted alot depends on your view of the future of bitcoin. I am a LTH and topping up at these levels in the belief of a >$100k bitcoin at year end.
Short term - aside from higher number of BTC mined due to decreased difficulty, my hope or feeling is a soon to be announced deal with a Chinese miner for either rigs or some sort of JV where they rent space from Argo (ongoing conversations?). Would also like to see announcement of investment from 'O'Leary Ventures' - or Mr Wonderful himself in Argo esp after his comments on the importance of green BTC mining and Argo's investment in his Wonderfi firm. Maybe on his radar?
Too much II adoption for bitcoin to fail now imo.
Just need Elon to tweet Tesla accepting bitcoin again (after Chinese rout).

K3VMC,
'Yes, Mike is the man for finding the II and EFT buys. Great stuff. Tens of millions of dollars buying in at prices WAY north of this!'
I thought I recalled a huge buy from an II/fund of ~£13million (wasn't sure if I had misremembered) so I had a quick look at some previous posts and sure enough >£13m @1.68p on May 27th. Someone took screenshot at time.
Hoping this Clean Energy Crypto Mining ETF will launch soon. (tweet said launch imminent)

Interesting PW having discussions with Chinese miners coming to Texas (4m40s).
Interviewer: 'What about these Chinese miners, are they coming?
PW: 'The're coming, oh yeah they-a-comin'. (may have exaggerated accent/twang in my mind :)
Just wondering if Argo would merge or share Texas facility with Chinese miner(s) in mutual beneficial deal - win/win for both co's? Seems like it may be highly valuable real estate/location? as per PW tweet - access to power for mining getting harder and harder to find (especially renewable)
Just an idea.
Thanks K3VMC but I can't take credit for find.
Found link on search through Twitter. This chap posts regularly with useful info (like link for ETF) and likes to update on II purchases going on in the background. I think this is most recent re: purchases but not had time to search. GLA.

Also interesting comment from PW re: displaced Chinese miners looking for harder to find hosting sites.

Apologies if already posted (so many posts). New filing for Clean Energy Crypto Mining...ETF. Hoping we get some further big buys from funds looking to accumulate or above ETF for example (after hours).

Very soon we have the Wyld IPO on NASDAQ north (Norway) 2nd July (I think). Also 1 or 2 liquidity events in the coming weeks/months according to CEO spoken - maybe Wyld 1 of them? Exciting tech none the less. For future valuations someone posted a link to walletinvestor with some very high projections which I hadn't seen before.
Maybe someone else can elaborate or post much more info. GLA
Anyone know when Pluto is due to list? Can't be long now. Happy to invest here as not only a bitcoin play. Interesting investment too in Mr Wonderful co. (Not had time to research this).
As far as BTC price short term I expect rise to $48-50k. Interesting Chinese crackdown leads BTC miners to Texas and Florida.
I do feel there are some very smart decisions being made by this company which will benefit sp in future. The ability to foresee direction of mining industry, investing in smart growth etc.

Surprised sp still subdued esp when you consider US based Toronado fund paid 10.5p for their shares in March and more recently LSE based Adams plc (ADA) paid 11.35p in May.
Thanks for excellent posts and shared research.

Post results we have acquisition of Northstar Group (Bermuda) Ltd, a Bermuda based holding company and its wholly owned insurance company, Providence Life Assurance Company Ltd.
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/ALGW/strategic-acquisition-and-company-update-eizgjsh3uim4c4o.html
Alpha Growth Plc (LSE: ALGW and OTCQB: ALPGF), a leading financial services specialist in the growing longevity asset class, is pleased to announce the signing of a share purchase agreement to acquire a Bermuda based holding company and its wholly owned insurance company.
This is a transformative deal for Alpha Growth and represents a significant building block in the company's continued evolution, the deal adds substantial assets under management to the group and is earnings accretive. Following the completion of the acquisition, it is expected that Alpha Growth will be EBITDA positive.
The acquisition includes the ongoing operations of a Bermuda based Class C licensed insurance company with managed assets of over $290m and in-force policies of over $750m.
Curious the big purchases (I presume Institutional Investors) at close of play yesterday - 1 for £13.2million @1.68, another for £1.4 million @1.68. Some mentioning index funds...
I did wonder when Kevin O'Leary mentioned a possible scenario in the future where bitcoin mined in a sustainable (green) way may in fact be worth a premium to the bitcoin price. He also said these sustainable mining companies are the ones he would be investing in (see my last post).
https://youtu.be/8slNNhfalZY?t=297
Kevin O'leary discussing his bitcoin investment and the issue of sustainable bitcoin mining. The mountain of calls he received from Institutional Investors concerned about where the bitcoins were mined and if in a sustainable way.
Organising a council of sustainability where Kevin himself will be investing in the miners that do set sustainable mandates.
Forgot I had some of these shares. Just had a quick reminder on previous funding - £87 million raised in Oct last year at £1.75 placing. Will continue to hold. Patience needed. GLA

Just a reminder on the potential of the LG Chem partnership alone.

Another interesting short video. BTC 100k outflows on exchanges and available Bitcoin getting more scarce (at all time low ~2.1 million.)
