Shame it wasn't the other way around with the late trade. People would be falling over themselves to jump on a 14% rise, without knowing the reason.

I just had to look this one up since I remembered the Public holidays in Kazakstan are just after ours at xmas.
It turns out the day of non activity on Friday was Orthodox xmas day, when traditionally they would have minimal operational activity anyway.
