Lifted from advfn. Not seen the note myself yet.
Well done to Skid who suggested this might happen
New 17 page Arden note out
"...ENET is trading at c24p at current levels. This is near the bottom of its 52-week range. This weak share price pattern is not uncommon amongst AIM-quoted Tech stocks. In our view, it creates a strong buying opportunity, with further contract wins a further catalyst. The company is well funded, following recent equity fundraisings. We reinitiate research coverage with a Buy recommendation, 65p target price. Our valuation methodology is based on discounted EV/Revenue multiples, on a risk adjusted basis."
adds about as much as you going on about what other folk are doing or being 'wise' after the event, I always love those posts where they bought at the bottom and sold at the top, then tell us afterwards!
No, if anyone is buying now, I'm very happy to hear it.
I've nibbled away in recent months, fwiw!
I note in the Corero (CNS) results this morning that they say:
'We also continue to monitor the semiconductor supply chain shortage closely, and encouragingly there are signs that this is beginning to abate globally'
That must be good news!
I've got a few on s/bet, they are under water, as are my fully owned shares. It's no more of a big deal than the shares being out of the money. Provided you can afford to run the s/bet, which I can, I don't see why its any more of a big deal than those among us that have added to our share position over the year, and I think that goes for a lot of us, most of us have bought a lot higher, although my average is in the low 30's.
I think you are referring to the one investor on advfn who hoped there would be a rns before the meet. On this board I think skid was calling for a broker's note before the meeting, which looks very unlikely. I'm not sure how the 'get a grip' advice really helps anyone. my advice would be to concentrate on your own back yard and don't worry about other folks holdings, be that s/bet or fully paid shares.
I think the reason is the selling is clearly measured, generally in response to buys.
There are clearly buyer(s) at this level, and our seller(s) seem to be matching them. Hence not much movement in sp.
the selling has some traits of 5G, ie measured. But not the usual ‘double tap’, and 5G have continued to double tap every month this year.
If the selling is 5G, then expect a under 5% RNS soon, if we don’t get such a RNS in next week or two, it’s not them.
Whatever, clearly we need news to clear the seller(s). A follow on $3m contract would fit the bill nicely!
For some sort of bizarre reason that one has flown right under the radar! Amazing!
There was an 8 min gap between trades , so unlikely to be a bed and ISA, unless it was a very poor broker.
Who knows, we’ve got buyers and sellers, the balance of which will determine if we go up or down. Beyond that there’s not too much you can say.

We will never know. Maybe they didn’t like the revenue warning with two weeks to go till year end. Maybe they decided it was such a small stake, they were in profit, why not sell. Maybe they decided it was too hard to get a meaningful stake.
There could be umpteen reasons.
None of them matter. It’s a two way market, so someone sold c 300,000, someone else bought them!
Maybe a better question is why did they buy?
Low market cap, strong growth prospects, plenty of cash, directors with skin in the game, patent protected compelling solutions to pressing problems.
It’s glass half full or half empty, take your pick!
Thanks Skid for the info. So £125k equates to a tad under 300,000 shares, as sp was c 43p at end of 2020.
Re
‘so it really going to move the needle selling. ‘
It might have done, but that was last year. Deffo no needle moving this year as they were all sold last year.
And 300,000 , in the scheme of things, ain’t a lot in any case.

everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if its wrong!
re fund and pumper to dump shares, showing me age, but reminded of capt Mainwaring's saying ' You're getting into the realms of fantasy now Jones'
Unless you are seriously suggesting a fund, responsible for other folks money and regulated to kingdom come would actually go down such a route. And if they have (!!!!!), they must have employed a lousy pumper with the shares at 25p or so.
I'm afraid the boring and mundane explanation nearly always the correct one.
Some folks have to sell because of problems in their portfolio elsewhere, or change of circumstance, are just fed up with ENET.
Perhaps some posters just invent fairy stories because it aligns with their own agenda?
Who knows, trust no-one.

Perhaps skid will confirm, but think Herald stake was incredibly small, few hundred thousand I think.
And as they no longer hold, they could have been sold anytime in something like last 6 months and certainly won’t constitute any recent sales or any this year as their AR, at which time they no longer held, is dated 31/12/21.
So if it is a fund selling, which I doubt, it ain’t Herald!

There’s a lengthy reply on advfn from PaTT re TL/504/Tarana for anyone interested.
All I would say is ALWAYS dyor! Never rely on a bb poster for info unless you can verify for yourself. If you can’t verify it place the appropriate level of belief/trust in that info.
I have seen Dallo advising posters on numerous occasions to dyor, I fully agree, it really is vital, applies to all boards

Whoops, posted before I had finished.
Just to say my dear late mother used to say ‘if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all’.
Fairview, perhaps it’s time to stop having a go at TL/504 and look to post something more productive instead?
Just a thought.
I think these boards can fulfil a useful function. Back in the old days the only info was a copy of the FT, the AR and the AGM where you might bump into a fellow investor.
Now with these boards you can communicate with a whole host of investors, discuss things of importance like trends, recent RNS, share price etc etc. And we are not so easy to ignore , as was the case in the old days.
So I wouldn’t underestimate the value of boards like this and advfn for empowering investors and helping to make their voice known! From a company perspective they get feedback on what they are doing right and wrong .
In a perfect world perhaps they wouldn’t be needed, that would be lovely, but it’s never going to happen, unfortunately.
Ok, sometimes there’s a bit of nonsense/handbags on the bb, but that can be sorted and shouldn’t detract from the value of these boards. I ‘run’ the much maligned 5G super stock thread on advfn, must admit must be reading something different from some of you, as I try my best to keep out ‘nonsense’ by modifying the thread. Not to be confused with other ENET threads on advfn, one of which is mainly nonsense.
Anyway, going off topic there.
Message is these threads can perform a very useful function indeed, for investors and company alike

ps, as they are here for three days just hope we’re not sandwiched in between meetings for a further placing!
Perish the thought and surely not?
Although they seem to work on raising funds almost on a bi monthly basis, well it feels like that!
Time to deliver, get the sp motoring and raise further cash via the warrants. Don’t listen to the brokers, they’re always after getting their snouts in the trough!
Hi dallo
I agree with your take re
‘I feel this board and others may have outlived their usefulness and speculation and arguments will be superceded by real tangible performance by Ethernity. ‘
And that would be great if that comes to pass. It’s certainly a positive development that I welcome and I hope to be there.
But I would also caution that the state of ENET’s IR is at a low base, so this meeting needs to be the start of a massive improvement in IR and not a one off or the end of the journey.
There is a list of questions as long as your arm and if this meeting can start to answer some of them, great. It needs to be a two way dialogue and both parties need to listen.
Questions, in no particular order
Why have we gone back again to 5G?
Why do we know less than nothing about our principal funder over the last few years?
Do you intend to issue a brokers note at some point?
Why was the recent $3m contract not RNS’d?
If these sort of deals are not RNS’d, how do you intend to communicate then to the market? They’ve issued RNS Reach for far less?
Can you explain how Tarana order? Eg we are now receiving orders for 2023, yet they are installing like crazy this year.
Can you explain how you will be ‘mass producing’ as per recent RNS and how funds raised will be used in this activity, also as per recent RNS.
Several years ago you gave a cash neutral/positive estimate, when do you anticipate this milestone will be reached?
There have been no new contracts RNS for 6 months, was this expected, how do you see things going forwards?
I’ve got plenty more where they came from!
We need to hear some proper answers to serious questions, what we don’t want is a glossed over presentation.
It’s time for ENET to level with us.
I see Dallo got it bang on re under promise over deliver strategy.
‘Ethernity Networks Ltd is expecting another year of strong top-line growth, and this will be boosted by follow-on orders from existing contracts, which were not factored into the networking technology company’s revenue visibility forecasts.’
So they haven’t included anything from Tarana beyond the $2m or from anyone else come to that.
