Was that a double tap re 2 x 23,000?
’ve got an open mind at to whether it was a 5G double tap or not. We won’t really know if they are still active until it gets repeated several more times, and then only confirmed when they drop below 5%. They would have to sell over 1m shares to drop below 5%.
Although if/when the warrants are exercised that drop down to c 500,000 shares.
On my records, 23,000 doesn’t look like a 5G favoured amount, they seem to favour 32,500, 25,000, 20,000, 50,000 but not exclusively.
I was convinced that there would be a couple of liquidity events between the announcement early November and the delayed, end of November issue of shares so 5G could get below 5%.
It was obvious to me last week they hadn’t sold anything like the c 1.25m to get below 5%, so declare or off market transfer where their only options.
I wonder if they are a willing holder? Ie, if the liquidity events had happened, would they have sold into them? Who knows, but at least we’ve now got sight of them and will know if/when they drop below 5%.
Thanks for your thoughts dallo, I share your take.
Yes, be a big relief to put all the double tap/TR1/ will they won’t they etc stuff well and truly to bed.
Perish the thought re sig news and small free float, they might have to seriously hike the sp!

Can I take it your view is that 5G will now be a long term holder, however long is, and the ‘double taps’ will now cease?
All in your opinion, obviously
I would like to think that will be the case but we would soon know otherwise!
Cheers
Dallo
Why would warrant holders exercise early?
As a sign of supporting the company or something?
I’ve got warrants but would see no reason to exercise them until the accelerator clause kicks in.
No double tap today, and today is just the sort of day that 5G like to double tap. Some posters are suggesting 5G could have dumped on Friday to stay under 5%. Imo, no way, the volume wasn’t there, it goes against everything they’ve done to date, it just don’t add up to me.
I believe they must declare, or they’ve transferred off market.
All imo

Many on this board speak to MR.
I don’t think he requires thanks, an appreciation by investors of ENET , in terms of what they are doing, where they are at is probably better. Having said that ofcourse it is polite and proper to thank him when he does reply to investor queries, even though that should be a given in all listed companies, but unfortunately isn’t.

I posted your thoughts re EGM/warrants/timings etc on advfn, trust that was ok. Anyway, PATT on that board wishes to thank you
astralvision....can you message dallo with my thanks for that bit of excellent logic. Makes sense and ticks all the boxes. Quite right that Mark R is nobody fool and has a very sharp and crisp mind.
Listened to the podcast.
I take it from what Elrico’s was saying that something re Croda is expected this Q4. What is it exactly that is expected? I can’t see anything in the results or interim results re Q4.

Yes dallo, noticed that before re deadlines.
Given MR has twice stated in a rns re 5G
‘The Subscriber has confirmed to the Company that it has at all times complied, and will continue to comply, with its obligations in connection with the filing of TR-1 substantial shareholder notification forms (if and when applicable).’
Then that is, perhaps, an assurance that they will indeed comply.

Am I correct in saying holders have around three days to declare a notifiable holding? In which case 5GIF have till the end of this week to declare, assuming they do indeed have a notifiable holding.
Thanks
Hi Dallo
I wasn’t sure if the 5G allotment required a further rns beyond the one issued on 22nd November, but I guess it is a requirement.
I line your scenario, that indeed would be very positive. Given 5G have taken every available opportunity to off load when market conditions allow, I will be pleased but somewhat surprised if they stop now. After all, they have , imv, been offloading right up to the last few days.
If we are correct in thinking who is behind 5G, then I would have thought the ‘free carry’ aspect was low down on their list, but who knows.
I agree, they must have c 5.2m shares once the final lot of shares is allocated, this is a declarable stake. As far as I can see, they have not been sold in the market, unless they’ve been transferred off market. Let’s see if we get that TR1. I will believe it when it happens! Mind you,if it does happen it might save some awkward questions at the EGM!
Anyway, I really hope your scenario is correct

Eg
In terms of new business though, the CEO points to the 5G Open Ran initiative as getting a lot of their attention at present.
Having formed in 2018 this initiative is concentrated on the Radio Access Network (RAN) which is one of the core elements of any wireless telecoms network and is now estimated to represent north of 60% of telecom infrastructure capex spending.
Most recently the O-Ran initiative has come up with a number of recommendations around the space such as opening up the network that drives mobile base stations and power and this is providing opportunities for the likes of Calnex, away from some of the much larger industry names that have tended to dominate the space.
