Simon, you're right. Rathlin screwed up. As a former poster Manwell said "do it cheap, do it twice". Sooo true in this case.

It was already well known that the zechstein reef was prone to water damage & oil based muds were the solution. That being said RBD were majority shareholders & we had a seat on Rathlins board. That being the case we had so.e influence but appear not to have used it ??. So in a way RBD is just as culpable as Rathlin when it comes to responsibility for the WN screw up.

Yes I agree with you about SW but as a joint ceo Oza is just as much to blame for the situation. Joint ceo=joint responsibility &, let's be honest, WN is not the only bad decision they made.

In truth we've bought a large stake in a co. that has been unable to find any funding for years !!!

I see no rhyme or reason for our increased stake in Rathlin with the current political climate in the uk.
