Has anyone researched verona pharma, they seem ahead of the game on us, phase 3 copd and covid trials underway and just completed a 200m fundraise

May, I was just going through all the holdings rns to find his positions, thanks for that, so it looks like he sold 1.5m shares on the initial rise, hen another 1.3m at 200. He looks as though he has taken about 6m in cash with 6.5m shares left. I don't think we will see him increasing his holding even at these prices!

Ken, we are expecting news flow any day, it is so hard to say which way it will go at any minute on any day at the moment. On Tuesday I had it in my mind that it would rise to 130, no particular reason just I thought it was overdone on Monday, so was not surprised to see it rise to 122 so wouldn't consider trading, then low and behold, within the hour back below 100!!! I'm cheesed off with second guessing, would love a buyout so I don't need to make a decision.
If you look at it in the grand scheme of things, sng want to do 100k doses a month, that is a drop in the ocean considering population, plenty of room for a lot of others to put thir therapeutics in there, if we were to dose just the UK population, at that rate it would take us 50 years! So I am confident, regardless of vaccines that there is plenty of room to produce that amount and sell it comfortably.

Big, you were correct, in August Leo had 7.85m shares, so he sold 1.3m shares near the placement, which would have been understandable if he was selling at 200 to buy in the ri at 175, but that is obviously not the case

Big, it didn't say if Leo bought or sold, the only holding I could find on him was the 3m in 2016, 3% of company then, and then this holding said 6m so I thought maybe it was a 3m top up?

But, they did limit us to less than 3% extra in our holding, so they certainly weren't desperate, even though a lot didn't take the offer, hence we got most of the extra we applied for.

It's easy to do, sometimes you can do it when there is actually no price difference, buy and sell at the same price, keep pressing buy and sell preview. I done 60k like that in mine and my wife's sipp in the last couple of days, but I actually bought one lot of 30k at average 92, but I haven't sold the equivalent from my trading account yet. Yes carry your tax loss forward to following years if u don't use it.

I know, I'm baffled, did they get 35 more investors to take a million shares each? I would have preferred to have seen ii taking over 3% holdings to show confidence. Its great that polar have taken their allocation and bought on the drop, and also Leonard licht who has been in since 2016, but now doubled his holding, unless he bought more between 2016 and now, like I say, his average could now be 102, if that's the case I would think he has bought more on the drop but not notified yet.

Definitely do it, great idea, you can carry the loss forward for future gains also.

I know, when I message him or answer him I think it's really funny, not rude, but other people don't understand, instead they try and commiserate with him! I'm about 250k down on paper since Monday but I don't message how crap the company are or how I should have sold at 180 and bought back at 90, and neither do normal people. Everything I do is my own doing, just like everybody else on here.

Lol, yes he is still saying it, he now wishes he had waited for the placing price!! But he refuses to name the shyster who tipped him to do sng, what a lovely chap he is, he also said something about you because you filter him!! It takes all sorts I suppose.

I just can't understand why there are no holdings rns, s. It would have cost under £12m to get 6m shares and so trigger the rns. As far as I cold see Leonard licht had about 3m shares before and now about 6m his average is now approx 102. Considering the profit he was in, then adding like he did, he must have been pretty certain he was going to make a healthy profit. So far only 7m of the 40m plus shares are accounted for, Tikvah our other ii obviously didn't add, you would think they all would now if they had faith? Can we have access to shareholders names anywhere does anyone know?

Cheers guys, yes still got my 314k shares so no, I realise I've not "lost" 220k, but I've been here before, slightly different as I think synairgen oozes quality and the other shares possibly didn't! When things like this happens, you can't help but question your actions.
