Massive premium is nonsense sadly. 1.80 would be great as 5billion debt in an increasingly upward trend in interest rates is a bit of an anchor.

The wording from Unilever is very strong and direct.It would be a surprise if they don't up the bid at some stage.

Possibly £16.80 with some swings.Should be fun and how much is in the price already as we are always the last to know!

It is hard to see any value in ODX. The government contract is looking worthless if it happens at all. Private sales are now in a highly competitive market and require top class sales people. The food tolerance part of the business is not an area I have any knowledge of but it is hardly generating anything special. Colin has to go or the company will.

My take on the strength behind GSK .Emma wants to keep her self appointed role as CEO of New GSK. I think she will listen to offers which are imo certain to come for the consumer side of the business. That way if the right offer arrives she will hope that will appease shareholders and get Elliot off her back and give her the credibility to head up whats left. We shall see but personally I think there could be a bidding war for the consumer business.

Only an opinion but I think GSK has huge upside from here. Not always a great way to look at a share but we are at low historical levels. The split has led to outside interest from disrupters which is usually a positive influence on the upside. The most likely outcome of the split is a sale of the consumer business despite the plan. That may pacify Elliot and allow Emma to stay until it becomes clear she is not the right person to lead GSK. All of this underpinned by decent yield after the split. Looks a bet to nothing to me and will continue to accumulate.

I mentioned this on a post I put up during the week. Our RTC was full of cases like this and even a well known ex international cricketer. This is due to continued use of Innova.

Just a few observations after finishing work after 13 months at an RTC. Understandaby we have seen a complete demographic change in the people being tested. People under 30 now represent over 90% of those we are now testing with Pcrs. Where it gets interesting is that although we try not to get into conversation with the customers they do love to tell you their story and ignore our requests to keep their windows up! The recurring theme is that they have tested positive on Ltrs and want a pcr to confirm that result Plenty who have tested negative on Ltrs but still have covid symptoms! What is clear is the Chinese tests are not fit for purpose and the government are treading a thin line on gross negligence by continuing to use these tests. On site we are no longer testing ourselves as it is common knowledge the tests are not fit for purpose. There needs to be a serious campaign to lobby our MPs and get this seriously into the public domain as so far few people are even of the FDA directive . Clearly this is an absolute scandal and could speed up the process of a UK sovereign test approval. Sadly l am no longer sure ODX can deliver.

Just noticed at our RTC that the test tubes are made by E and O in Scotland . So maybe that explains why Boris says we are supporting the UK diagnostic industry. What a farce.

Yes Aberdeenman, truely shocking corruption and BJ stated in parliament last week that the government had provided significant help to the UK diagnostic industry.

Sadly that post is spot on.
