Cobre Numbers are due this week -$1.5m of free cashflows all helping to support our Redmoor prized asset.

Q3 numbers were released on 15th October last year. Update is likely to be this week. Lots more drilling results to come.

What do they value Redmoor at after today?

Strategic Minerals (AIM:SML) has a small, profitable magnetite operation at Cobre in New Mexico in the USA and a high-impact, priority exploration-development. Tungsten-tin-copper project at Redmoor, Callington, Cornwall, UK. Cobre produces consistent profits which pays for the corporate and operational overheads alongside some exploration – with any money raised going into the ground to enhance shareholder value. We set our fair value at 1.9p/sh, but see multiple upsides possible. The value to Redmoor would be 6.3p/sh

Results today are from a hole twinned with an early (1980s) drill programme targeting the continuous, polymetallic Sheeted Vein System (SVS) with high-grades of tungsten (e.g. 3.1m grading 1.4% WO3) and copper (0.5% Cu) from 440m highlighted in todays announcement (Exbibit 5) – tin assays are still in progress. The Company describes Redmoor as Europe’s highest grade, undeveloped, tungsten resource – with which are own research concurs. The SVS has a broad thickness of ~90m with several high-grade “zones” of which SML identifies 12 such zones which can be traced (Exhibit 2). We note the exceptional assay results today with the geology appearing to tie in closely with the 1980s drilling which, added to the previous 32 holes drilled by SML, and the remaining meterage of the current 5,000m campaign, will enable an increase in resource size and confidence in our opinion. We maintain our 1.9p fair value but note the recent strength and liquidity in the SML share price and judge that we have yet to see the full potential of this project.

I reckon this will be in the national newspapers tomorrow - a great British Success at the most critical time for the UK

Spot on White. The new Board haven't put a foot wrong. Quickly got an agreement to sell Leigh Creek for $9m, wasted no time on the Cornwall asset and just look at those results. Furthermore the $1.5m free cash inflow into our bank account is being utilised wisely. I just have a feeling we are going to see a bid for Cornwall if not the whole group. We moving into the premier league now thanks to this magnificent Board of Directors.

And dont forget the political situation and the demand for Tungsten. Better than money in the bank this one.

Spot on Toil . I remember that last rise but this time we have made it thanks to a fantastic Board who are managing all our Assets superbly. Peter Wale was like a Chicken sitting in the nest keeping the Tungsten warm. All our eggs are hatching with bigger than expected chicks. LOL. In all seriousness, this is just incredible. Cobre throwing off $1.5m of free Cash, Leigh Creek conditional sale pending at $9m and now the sleeping giant in Cornwall.

Might take a few weeks to sink in here because this news is incredible. I can see 10p here by year end
