Am I disappointed D2 isn’t moving forward right now - yes.

Are this company diversified across several commodities - yes

Are we in a commodity bull market - yes

Have we recently proven Stirling results in a potentially sizeable iron ore prospect that could give astonishing yields of high quality iron or at a time when the product is at multi-year highs - yes.

Did the market collapse on us today despite this frustrating news - no.

Was the reality of the drop far more palatable than expected - yes.

Do I still believe in this company - yes

Will I buy more shares before the end of the week - yes.

I believe that today the market showed us just want sentiment there is behind this company and my strategy is unchanged. Mid/long term hold and support.

Who else has the minerals to commit?

PaulQ - apologies for non-mining knowledge, but doesn’t that line refer to Brockmans adjoining mine? We are an extension of that, so the 124 figure applies to their prospect not ours? Forgive my ignorance.

PaulQ can you clarify why you think we’re looking at 124mt? Am I missing something from these releases?

You’re right to give a balanced perspective Stevie. We should be led by healthy debate here. I guess we are just focussing more on some of the positives that have come to light. I guess second phase drilling could also be to bolster a weaker second set of assays. But the Bill having already started conversations with interested parties would suggest a healthy degree of optimism. But as you say, nothing confirmed.

Yes I watched, and I agree. If you know the prospect is good the thing to do is rattle your sabre. Hopefully Bill’s milkshake has brought at least some of the boys to the yard. In a way the longer the silence now the better the news should be.

Given the fact that we know they have the second set of results, the delay makes me think that they are waiting to finalise the plans and partnerships for “next steps” so that they can update the markets with both at the same time. I certainly hope that’s the case. Obviously Bill still needs to finalise the 90% ownership deal also. So this is a time for getting ducks in a line. I’m not surprised we’re waiting, and I still feel there are sizeable fireworks to come in the short term.

This is great, thanks both. Let's hope Bill gets cracking with some news of substance. And that right soon. Huge believer in this company given the spread of assets and the moves they are making now. They have clear confidence in what they are finding so it's an exciting time to be here. But it'll take an RNS that confirms substance before we get off the start line. I for one don't plan to budge until that arrives...

Looking back, it appears Alien's SP reached £2 back in Sep 2012. Can anyone shed light on the conditions surrounding that valuation? I'd love to try and cross-compare the value spectrum back then with what we are (hopefully) about to enter should the Iron Ore pan out in our favour.

Pretty solid results and an optimistic outlook here. Seems the team have navigated this all very well and no reason there shouldn’t be a steady upward channel until interims in mid Sep. Nicer weather coming in June also so hope you all get out there for some reunions with family and friends. I hear Wagamamas is the ideal location ;)

So the run of play is that if the assays suggest there is quality it’ll trigger next stage operations (JV or solo venture) and then it will be many months before the full extent of the body is known?

Does anyone know when Bill might have an idea about actual volumes of DSO? I know we are due assays within days but given 944T’s Sterling calculations, I’d love to get a sense of, in addition to quality, when we might know about volume?? Getting very spicy here now..

I find it astonishing how readily people respond to antagonistic posts on this board. I for one would love to get back to healthy, adult debate that is led by facts, insights and shared interest in this really promising company. Rather than mudslinging and one-upmanship. Fascinating taste of what's to come within this expanding culture. It may seem odd on the face of it but we'll be seeing more of this. I have topped up another quarter million shares this AM but it is showing as a sell. I hope many of these other sells are likewise. No idea why you would offload these at the moment. Can’t see the 1.7m purchase either?
