Disappointed, why Levi. Either the SP goes down like they tried last time and RNS came and we all pile in again for top ups or the SP doesn't react or the SP goes up.

I am guessing here but I would suspect when a vote occurs it has to look far more attractive than it does with our current SP.

I would not be at all surprised if the MM's gap this up tomorrow pre open I don't know city games but I wouldn't be surprised.

We are missing something here a big piece of the puzzle. Has value been created in WN already with the drill results so far. Lets go left field do we keep our latest investment in Humber and sell off the rest before the drill even turns, have they been offered a sum that fits the value curve been offered. I just can't get my head around the risk being taken at WN with our % share would be a huge detriment to their reputation if it went sour as we all know these things can. Add that to the latest spend required for this possible deal today and something doesn't add for me. I would love to be a fly on the wall. One thing is for sure theses guy's aren't inexperienced and I trust them to make the right decisions.

So you don't value over 11 million quid in cash and a partner like Shell? I think it will happen little the board can do if the II's have decided I suspect. If our SP goes North tomorrow thats a sure tell tale sign also.

Levi, I see it different.. rather than a big special dividend on WN sale I get a crack at a North Sea asset. Ok if you don't have a few years to wait it could be frustrating I get it. I think it would be an amazing opportunity and good use of the cash from WN. Deals are done in the city months before we hear about them so don't always rely on current information we have in hand.

We haven't got to the monetisation part of the strategy, I understand your frustration but I also understand what the guy's are trying to achieve here and I am more than willing to wait for what I lovingly refer to as Payday!

Shares in issue isn't important as long as you are getting a balance with the value it creates. What I would love to know is did S&S go after this or were they asked to go after Deltic! The difference being of course the latter suggests the purse is open but the guy's will want a far better SP so limit dilution, you scratch mine....

I disagree, we get the cash for shares pretty much. We then have the main asset which we can raise for after WN success and our own SP is much higher, I can't see them getting the money required themselves if they want to go offshore UK. How about the sale of WN is already prepared waiting the next drills and we use the cash from that to invest in a north sea prospect rumoured to land with Deltic soon!

We get their cash for shares seems like a better move than a raise to me.

Certainly gives us something to talk about, you never know what is coming next with these two!

Could the answer be as simple as lending stock for short or long positions isn't that easy for RBD due to it's status with the likes ob Halifax as an investment fund so traders steer clear as they can't easily make an SP movement here a large percentage of the stock is tied in institutional hands I imagine spamming this BB wouldn't have much effect as we are predominantly seasoned and patient investors?

Just the fact that RBD can't be traded on all platforms. When the special dividends start rolling in it doesn't really matter what the SP is but the % of the shares you own. I don't think RBD will ever be a high SP but the dividends are what will create riches for us.

Instead of looking for answers if you believe in WN keep adding while you can at these prices. How many times have we all said 'darn, wish I had bought more'. I certainly won't be saying that I am over my target and some more as a trading tranche I can use comfortably without using my main holding.

There is a gulf of difference between a stock doing 250% and the player taking 10% of the rise. Well what stock will I look at and make up some imaginary story of how I played it like a fiddle... oh yes TOM... royally F'd that one up myself but at least I have a pair of walnuts to admit it.

Lazarus there is nothing wrong with selling a grand for example and banking it, it doesn't have to be all or nothing.

If you need the money desperately then sell where you are comfortable. If you don't need the money in the next year then leave it be where it is. I am not authorised to give financial advice just my opinion.
