The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
@mornington - lol I did tell you my next investment move when I opened a short on ESL, but you ignored me, it worked out for me, how did holding work out for you since Monday ? 20% down from Monday ?
I can't write 2000 words on cash flow to equity with regards to ESL, not sure anyone can and when it comes to intangibles you are on a slipper slope. Regardless my forecast was spot on for yesterday and today so I am sure there is some factual basis
@mornington - 84% loss not 90% loss and because I sold at a price 10.4% higher than today's close and I closed my short to turn a theoretical profit into increased cash - it's quite simple really
@faze1 - That is an abusive and libellous post - please withdraw it
Well, I said last night at 21:35 it would go down between 5 and 10% today and it closed down 6.45%. Despite all the ramps, promises about TR1's, boom comments and last chance to buy, sadly ESL performed as I predicted. No I don't have a short open and I don't intent to go short or long on it, unless it goes back sub 5p. So Lockesboy your comment is incorrect and the only reason you and others have lost 20% over yesterday and today is because you hoped sentiment would defeat logic.

I think the size of the debt to the operating profit and cash generation is more relevant - what is the operating profit ? Ah, there is not any currently, slight technical accounting problem that we can ignore for valuations purposes
I closed because I wanted to turn my theoretical profit into cash in my account
FTSE up 1% today and DJ up more than 1.5% - so no I hadn't noticed the market downturn - which data source you using ?
@Ethio - The MM's definitely know something that the buyers don't - hence why the sp is down for the second day in a row, glad you worked it out
@Ethio - here are the rules - can you highlight the paragraph that supports your, I assume, truthful claim ? I

My forecast for tomorrow ?
Gap up at open, RNS coming, TR1 coming, sp up 30%, sp up to 20p, sp up to 30p, NT, NT, NT, takeover coming, DHL, Wincanton, Girteka all coming, £106m liquidity, brand worth more than the mcap, shorter will burn, Tinkler selling is good, sellers are out !
End result - probably another 5-10% drop
Good luck all - you will need it"
It has struggled but appears to have turned a corner - made 30% over last month from 4.9p upwards and sold out at just under 7p - back down at 5.1p this afternoon so I'm risking my profit from the original trade as I see it
No GDP
Mark I don't think the market is at a low lol - and I made a small purchase in a gold miner with about 3% of my portfolio as their share price has not increased in proportion to the increase in the gold price, hence why I think it will increase. Agree too much is made of the coronavirus and that it is nuts, but the markets think different.
Coronavirus - not Commercial Vehicle lol - just realised the duplication
Mark I honestly can't see it getting to 35p as I think DBAY will milk it and therefore no takeover without DBAY will be possible, but good luck - I have gone to all cash while the CV develops, bought a small position in a gold share this afternoon having sold out everything else this morning.
Agree Mark on your point on USA, but that was then and this is now, the momentum is not as strong and the market sentiment will probably be worse. But again, we will know at 16:30 how it worked out.
Mark I am happy for you and maybe you will make more here trading it, hope you do. It may spike later this week back to 15p I just think sentiment will be down tomorrow. Now my short is closed I won't be shorting or going long.
Hi Mark, perhaps take a view at the closing price tomorrow at 16:30, I might be wrong, I often am, but USA tanked again tonight and no RNS or TR1 issued, so let's see
