For the benefit of those newer to SML - CRL was oringally bought from ASX listed NAE where the then SML Chairman, Alan the Broome was also Chairman. Orginallying CRL was a JV with NAE,then SML bought NAE out....all a long time ago now

Great summary,there is no end of positives here and at a time when tungsten is still well off the radar despite the price rises and ever increasing significance

SML/CRL: represents the best value UK listed option to play the theme - theyre actively drilling now and if there initial results are anything to go by, they are nailing it

No reason SML can't double from here before the end of the year,no fears of dilution,unless via a new investor who will come in at market prices like GMET did, MB knows who to call,they will be telling him to simply have GMET buy SML or CRL

Not if GMET wants to "steal" SML on the cheap - plus it appears nailed on that CRL is going to deliever and beat expectations.

I could certainly see logic in a GMET deal - together they become a tungsten focussed powerhouse - does GMET pay cash to take out SML, or does it do an all share "merger", or does it just buy CRL from SML.....interesting Mr Bond....

So far - after about a year,the new board haven't actually been seen, no interviews, no presentations - given the recent joining of InvestorMeet I guess that may change - there hasnt yet been any marketing of SML - bear that it mind - things can now change quickly after these results - given the investors who have given GMET money in zero discount placings, I am sure Mark Burnett knows who to call to attract new interest in SML

Easy to see how SML should be the pick - he says he took 0.5%, for SML that would be only 10m shares or so, easily done in yesterdays volume

Results today are from a hole twinned with an early (1980s) drill programme targeting the continuous, polymetallic Sheeted Vein System (SVS) with high-grades of tungsten (e.g. 3.1m grading 1.4% WO3) and copper (0.5% Cu) from 440m highlighted in todays announcement (Exbibit 5) – tin assays are still in progress. The Company describes Redmoor as Europe’s highest grade, undeveloped, tungsten resource – with which are own research concurs. The SVS has a broad thickness of ~90m with several high-grade “zones” of which SML identifies 12 such zones which can be traced (Exhibit 2). We note the exceptional assay results today with the geology appearing to tie in closely with the 1980s drilling which, added to the previous 32 holes drilled by SML, and the remaining meterage of the current 5,000m campaign, will enable an increase in resource size and confidence in our opinion. We maintain our 1.9p fair value but note the recent strength and liquidity in the SML share price and judge that we have yet to see the full potential of this project.

Highest voliume for 3 months and trades as high as 50, thats where the recent options strike is
