Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
" sounds like bad news coming our way" Doubtful as what bad news could there be? We haven't started drilling yet and if a JV was not good enough we would just say no and not send out rns we could be turning down not good enough JV offers all the while. Also if somehow big trades indicate "insider knowledge" then there was a 5m buy today also!
If traders are moving out as they think we are going to have a few weeks quiet time before news than good look to them. However I have noticed atleast 50% of the time probably more PIs get the timing of the newsflow wrong and often real movement happens from unexpected news. As said in interview as always we are always looking at different options, opportunities and possible partnerships. Hopefully we re-rate soon!
The Chaos in US is over? 4 people dead and explosives found. Yet Trump refers to them as "very special people and he loves them all". Can they really continue with him as President for next 12 days? How will his supporters react? I suspect it will be very turbulent next couple of weeks and gold and silver will probably rise sharply.
Morally ok meat would be a much better description. It is true and will point the finger at the small uneducated minority of consumers that would say they are not touching lab grown meat. Having articles describing it as that would be far better and would really give the world the message it needs.
I can't think of a better name right now. However hopefully someone will before any of these other names stick as everytime there is an article calling it Frankenmeat, synthetic/artificial meat or in vitro meat we are appealing to less people than if we were called something like save the planet meat. It needs to have a name that tells everyone once it is widely avaliable that if they are eating conventional meat then they should feel guilty and be ostracised.
There seems to be quite a few different names for lab grown meat I wonder what it will be called in the end? Lab grown may sound abit Frankenstein to some, cultured sounds like it might taste like ethanol, clean doesn't clearly give the message to the consumer imo. Agronomics shared an article on twitter a couple days ago explaining that even organic meat wasn't any better for the environment than conventional meat production and therefore lab grown meat is the only enviromentally friendly meat production. I wonder therefore whether ethical meat or enviromentally friendly meat or something might be a better name?
Hi smezbay, As I understand it they cannot attempt to delist for 3 years from last June. I expect that there will be a consistant premium to NAV now that people are becoming aware that Cultured meat has actually been approved in Singapore and with a constant newsflow likely over 2021. IMO it wont be long until everyone knows Agronomics exists as it is the only way to get into this space on London Stock Exchange and soon everyone will want a slice of it. As for dilution presumably unlike most shares where they are paying salaries or paying for drilling the money will be used to invest further in this space and therefore a good thing?
I understand what you meant now. Well as you said the time has passed and won't ever be delisted now IMO as between now and 3 years time the sp will snowball! Every article, twitter post and tv program more and more people will be drawn to this sector and Agronomics is the only way to invest on LSE.
Hi Rosewall, Are you refering to the delisting attempt? It was before I was invested here. However if I have read the rns correctly it seems they are not allowed to attempt again for another 3 years from last June?
Its not really a ramped response to agree that a 4bag in this share over whole of 2021 is atleast a possibility and if the stars lined up it could do far better than that. Personally I wouldn't even be bothering to be invested here if I didn't think there was atleast a possibility it would multibag over the next year.
Abit of news I missed. Israels PM tried lab grown steak Dec 2nd. It was from Aleph Farms not SuperMeat though. He couldn't taste it being any different to real steak. Just shows how on board the Government of Israel is with it all. Hopefully things will move quickly for Supermeat getting regulatory approval so they can start selling it pretty soon rather than just taste tests. :- https://vegnews.com/2020/12/israel-s-prime-minister-becomes-first-head-of-state-to-taste-cell-based-meat
Ofcourse, It is a possibility 20p is only 4 bag from here. However very early on in the process would need to find some very decent grades and get a decent JV and at that point even £1 in 2021 is within the realms of possible.
Which companies in our portfolio do investors like the best? For me I particularly like Solar Foods. I think the concept of being able to reduce C02 in our atmosphere by turning it into edible protein is fantastic.
