I believe Sensyne have moved to a smaller office in Oxford ... maybe keeping costs down ... but like everyone else on this BB, still hoping for positive news very shortly... hopefully...
Easyp - good question....I’m struggling to see an obvious investor at present .... but surely Sensyne would not be issuing if there was no long term future ? I’m constantly confused by Draysons approach ... but hoping for some “sale” news this week; the delay in issuing any positive future news is still disconcerting... I’m trying to remain hopeful ...
thanks for feedback.
Since Sanofi looking at a $5.2 Bn with ExScientia , not sure how Sensyne will fit into these plans as yet but possible ....also option with BenevolentAI likely to be off the cards due to SPAC below...
“Drug developer BenevolentAI enters SPAC merger deal with Odyssey.According to the deal, BenevolentAI is valued at a post-money valuation of up to $1.7bn (€1.5bn)”.
This makes Sensyne look incredibly cheap....but who could buy ? A big Pharma company ? Clearly there are competitors out there but the technology is in demand ...
I’m staying optimistic...
It’s been very quiet from Sensyne (and bulletin boards) over the last week....I’m wondering if the delay on news of possible future financial model is related to interested companies holding back due to Ukraine and hence financial market concerns. Hopefully this is resolved shortly but an SP around 11.5p is somewhat disconcerting vs 10p warrants....
Interested if others have any constructive views....
Easy - I’m confused with the direction . The RNS to buy from Peel suggested a move upwards (did I read this wrong ?) but obviously not so. The drop of20% is substantial and really doesn’t look good. But in the absence of any news it’s difficult to call what happens next. I’m too stubborn to sell since I’ve been hear for over 2 years and still believe (maybe naively) that the strategy was right long term... but no news and further falls suggest I’ve probably made the wrong call . I’ll try and remain optimistic... in the hope the markets are focussed elsewhere with other priorities..:
Always.... is this wishful thinking or based on any facts..? . I’d love to see a substantial increase but suspect a flat trajectory until any buyout news is forthcoming.... still, this market is so volatile who knows ...
Poor interim results ...£1 m sales and £14m ebit loss over last 6 months ... no real forward looking projections for rest of the year. Is this the bottom from which to grow ? Would such a performance really attract big future investment for a sale ? I’m still hopeful but my view on the future has been moderated somewhat. Interested on others constructive views.
Having read this mornings Trading Statement, does anyone else think it could have possibly been worse ? Every possible financial upside is questionable and talk of possibly going bust in February. Cannot understand how quickly this has deteriorated... does Drayson intend to drive it into the ground and buy back cheap for relishing on Nasdaq ??? All constructive comments appreciated....
Interesting to see Sanofi taking over Exscientia this morning in $5 billion long term deal ..: Glaxo going into AI independently.... but what’s happening with Sensyne ? I’m beginning to worry that although they had a robust strategy that events are moving beyond them while they work out where they want to go with MBO or delisting ... I’m hoping this “delay” is not going to drive down SP any further ... interested for any constructive feedback ...
Brazos - really appreciate the feedback ... I’ll be staying put on my investment as well. I’ve also been topping up recently but the lowering SP has been a concern.Drayson wants to be seen to be successful so agree on a possible USA listing as a real move. Just not sure how the NHS trust “ownership” will be dealt with .... guess it will be clearer earlier next year. I’d love to see £1.75 again....
I’ve been following Sensyne for some time now - see earlier messages- but really struggling to see where things are going at present.... lots of RNS about transactions but very little to explain or trend future plans ... all this while the share price falls....Drayson has 22% shareholding and next 5 biggest investors about 35/40%.... are the smaller private investors about to get hit with a possible management buyout or will the larger fund holders drive direction ? Or are other options on the table likely... all constructive feedback appreciated...
Paddyboy / Realitbites - thanks for the constructive feedback
SFO gone, financial stability now in place, oil price positive ....limited risks...so all positives in place for growth but still trading below offer price. Not convinced about so called “overhang” after 3 weeks to clear ... no real purchases for IIs who would surely buy at this price for the long term ...everything which was a “downside” effectively gone ... and now conversation is all about what happens in the next year or two .... like we accept the current situation and are resigned for no real change until late 2022 :23... is it just me who feels duped and conned ?
All constructive feedback welcome....
I’m still seeing messages saying that there is still “overhang” and “churn” of shares not bought in the placing .... but is this really the case ? Surely these would have been displaced by now ? And a lot of us are still sat nursing a loss post the £1.15 option... I’m beginning to worry that the current price level is becoming the norm ....I really hope I’ve read this incorrectly so any constructive feedback would be helpful.
Easyp - I’m as confused as you . I cannot understand the current “nil” trading environment and am getting concerned there maybe more downside due to lack of information. I hope I’m wrong since I’ve been a big supporter of Sensyne over last 18 months and believe it’s a great growth potential company. But my recent trading trends have not been great ...
Brazos - Good to see the big buy yesterday... but I’m not sure I share your confidence in a 175p share price, mainly since I’m confused about ongoing activities...I really hope youre right but Drayson seems to be poorly communicating Sensyne direction which makes it difficult for me to see a clear plan...if buyers are in at 96p, long way to go for 175.... but I’m hoping clarity is forthcoming.
Still trying to work out if this could be very beneficial to current shareholders or not ... I’m in Sensyne long term since I’m aligned to their strategy but recent sell offs suggests I may be in the minority. Maybe Drayson is getting frustrated with market perception and valuation and wants a quicker return. I’ll be holding .. and hoping for share price upturn... but will it get back to £1.9 ?
Fully agree ... still surprised to see so many “buys” actually logged as sells... I’ve made 4 trades this week and all identified as “sells” on this forum... could this be putting traders off ? It does appear somewhat misleading...
“Test-To-Go System powered by MagnifEye receives European regulatory certification”
Good news ... but will it translate to revenues and hence profit quickly ? Still surprised to see Sensyne trading this low base on positive strategy... just need to see some profitability ...
Surprised that a lot of people bailing out of Sensyne today ... I was of the view that they had the right long term strategy and most of the future growth bars covered... but sentiment seems to suggest otherwise. I’ve purchased more today and intend to stay as a long term investor... but I seem to be in the minority . Am I missing something obvious ??
