Whithout sounding too negative, why would the result of one game of football have any impact on a share price of a multi national company. Its like saying, France won their last game in the world cup and as a result we were expecting the share price to move up! Before you type anything dwan, i suggest you proof read and then get your mum to check over it, before posting stuff which makee you sound silly. We are all in this together, get a grip, man up and deal with it. If share dealing is too difficult i suggest take up another hobbie like knitting or something?

I bought into this share at £3.70, my portfolio has an unusual high RPI holding. Im fully aware of its potential, hence why I am invested, but im also fully aware of the swing in share price. Fully believe in the company and its current fundamentals, but also aware of its sudden share price movements. So I personally wouldn't be thinking of early retirement yet at a price of 4.01.

The increase cost of RAM is an issue, however the company already highlighted this issue in its last financial update, so theres no hidden suprises there.

Just because the SP goes down on the day, doesnt make this a bad stock. Would the below comment be made if the SP was on its last week bounce and currently sat at £5+? I dont think so.

Overall solid company with a good moat. Yes external stuff like RAM prices/demand will affect the product prices but they wont take away the business model and what they sell. Overall good buy imho, if price goes down, then a good time to buy.

I totally agree with you. There's nothing in their results which would cause you concern.

My take on it, is due to the Government's GBR. This is keeping sentiment down. My personal view on GBR, it will not even take off, very similar to other Goverment initiatives. They cannot even get the basics right in office never mind taking on a big project like GBR.

Once another incompetent government gets into power, GBR will get kicked into touch, and this share price will rise. Just my opinion.

Cannot find a fault with the interim results..outstanding as usual. Let's see what happens. My only concern being the wider market sentiment dragging the price down.

@Rats. I think you have summarised this very well. Good and bad, but overall I believe this is a solid long term investment. My opinion.

Next half year results not good, plus outlook for UK retail is bearish - this is reading across retail in general. That's how I interpret as. Plus we will have our own half year update next week and if everyone is bearish, this is pulling SP down.

Im looking at entering TW once they have confirmed their exit from ftse100, think the official date of trading will be 22/09/25 in the ftse 250. Keep the faith peeps. It has a strong balance sheet, last update in my opinion was a one off, due to the increase cladding costs. Good luck all

I personally trimmed some profits yesterday but left quite anit in for the long term, since I do believe this share has still got some gas left in the tank. Once Hibbett and Courier sales get included and some sort of normality kicks into the economy, then this share has got some potential in my opinion.

Im looking too trim if it gets near the mid 90's. Leave a large chunk in there for the long term but also withdraw some of my cash via trimming to reduce my exposure.

I agree with Falcon, tough one to call this one. One could argue results are in line with expectations, and share price has already 'baked' this in. But a God knows how the market will react. Either way I think it's still a good buy at this price and If the price falls, will be a good opportunity to top up. Just my opinion..

The suspension is reference to the suspension of trading in shares on the stock exchange. This suspension would not be i relation to the possible deal. This is my understanding. I'm happy to be corrected otherwise.

I've not been on the board much, try and stay away and watch from a distance. I always appreciate both bull and bear cases, since I'm heavily invested. What I don't get is ppl who are not invested (or might be in some cases) making repeated negative comments about this situation we find our selfs in. If your invested and your not happy with what's happening, then you know what to do, which is sell. If you not invested in the company but keep on antagonising everyone and making repeated comments then I do question your motives, especially on a Saturday night, sat at home typing away on a share which you have no vested interest 🤔

You've made your points pal - jog on to some AIM share and start posting there.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If they were willing to pay £2.30 a share back then, but now can pick up WG on the cheap let's say for £0.85p, then the difference in savings would effectively wipe out any debt owed.

This all might be wishful thinking but if it was me with my cash in my pocket, I would thinking the above. It make sense to the buyer who overall get the company that they wanted at the price they wanted. Suits the ii whom won't be wanting to lock there money away in a suspension, and it suits the incompetent BOD.
