Hi Snowman, We haven't filed any patents specifically for Russia but my understanding is that our 13 WIPO patent applications include them.

It works, their only concern was for the best results they would have to increase the Ammonia concentration which would increase reagent consumption.....But we have that problem covered in the closed circuit :)

Conclusions
This study proves the suitability of ammonia (NH3) for extraction of Zn from smithsonite obtained from Central
Anatolia, Turkey. Within the scope of the study, NH3 was used for 5 and 7 M concentrations and leaching duration was
changed to see its effect on zinc extraction. Experiments revealed the positive effect of high ammonia concentration and
longer leaching duration on extraction rate of Zn. As leaching duration gets longer, extraction rate of zinc gets higher both
for 5 and 7 M concentrations. The maximum extraction rate was 76.66% using 7M of NH3 for 12 hours.

We already know it works in Hakkari too.

From the Turkey/Iran RNS.

Zinc oxide projects, especially in the Hakkari and Kayseri regions of Turkey and in Iran, are a particular focus but copper projects are also of interest.

The Turks were testing if our method worked on Kayseri's ore in June 2017

In this study, an ore taken from Kayseri region of Turkey was used. Characterization studies showed that the run-of mine
ore is rich in oxide minerals, cerussite (PbCO3) and smithsonite (ZnCO3). The aim of the study was extraction of zinc from smithsonite
by ammonia leaching on cerussite flotation tailings.

Looks like tests have started in Iran.

Just a reminder. They believe they have a method to extract Lithium from hard rock in weeks, not years like brine.

Your English is fine Cavello. Nothing moves quickly in the mining industry. We have been waiting several months for funds to be raised for the purchase of some Australian mine assets. They still mention it in business updates so I presume it's still happening. In all honesty I don't believe even AXM know. Hyperleach trials were started 3 months ago and we're awaiting the results. Vanadium testing started in February and first results are expected, when, who knows?
