This doesn't seem right.....off course i can't explain it....
Having said that this isn't quite dead and buried just yet by any means....but it's certainly making things harder for itself!

I still haven't changed my bull view here....this should still find its feet and rally imvho...
It needs to hold above 123p......and make a higher high....it's got a lot to do....but i do honestly still see that the lows are in here imvho.... until it shows us otherwise...

below 122/123p opens up move to 110p....
while 122/123p support is held this should see another move above 135p imvho.....and onwards....

is the key level to get above....as per the chart.....
if we can get a move above 5.30p this should hit last weeks highs imvho...

been tested a couple a times today....so looks good for now...

MM's seem to have widened the spread, quite possibly an attempt to deter buyers as it does seem like they are very tight on shares atm.....
A tad more buying pressure could see a nice squeeze higher here imvho...

lets see...5.30p....need to clear that for a strong break higher....

Bigdish is very much a work in progress imvho....something holders must remember

I can see restaurants being listed in the future when the Bigdish have everything is in place with 0% discount.....
Yep you read that right...0% discount

let me explain, the same way Just eat users order take away for delivery, as opposed to ordering directly with the restaurant/take away....
Bigdish users will be using the app to book tables with no discount, simply using the app to select a restaurant and book a table.....as its far easier to do than calling the restaurant directly....
so quite possibly not all listings will have discounts imvho....

when Bg comes to London, and other busier cities, many restaurants are not going to be willing to give discounts.....simply because they don't have to....
So why not list them with no discount and let the app users decide what they want to book?

Just my 2 cents....and all imvho....

ideally need to hold above 4.65p being the current level of the main trendline......so possibly going to do a test of the trendline at that level...and then a higher high....so above 6.20p....

lets see...but i don't see this going much lower imvho....4.65p looks a good place to add ...

I just had another look at the overall technical picture on vod, no change in view from me at this moment....the small pullback looks like a trendline retest..
What we have here with last weeks price action looks like the first real signs and green shoots of a recovery and trend change imvho...
This does look like the real deal....not just a dead cat relief rally.
At this point it could be a false breakout or bull trap, we had a similar move in Nov 18, but on that occasion we didn't get a convincing trendline breakout.....

Ideally we don't want see this go below 130.75p....and for now with the key level overhead being 145/146p....
these are the next resistance numbers 135p>137.5>145/146p>162p>171p

Down below if 130.75 fails...we could see 122p again below that 110p.....but i think that is unlikely now imvho

I have to be brief as i'm at work.
Mckirgan your point is at the very least partly correct imvho....
TA/charting is science of the price action of a given stock/indices/commodity....we could also call it "market action"
Markets move in trends.....TA is trying to predict those.....
I could bore you with more, without being disrespectful in any away , i'm not particularly fussed about this subject...Jack and Daniel are also partly right in what they are saying...
tbh i don't know the answer to every point/question....some are subjective and debatable...
not sure about the conection of algos and TA.....may possibly be right....i don't know tbh...
to be frank...i just care getting my charts/calls right (as far as possible)....

I do know that TA has been around for over 100 years.....long before super computers bought about algos...
technical analyst used to draw out charts (candlesticks and all) on paper....before pc's made charting came along....

so what approach is better, Fundamental/ Technicals???
Well i always say trade using methods that work for you....

having said that i will also take the opp to say that, to learn how to use charts correctly one really needs to make the effort to study it....
It does takes a lot of hard work studying and experience to make a correct charting calls imvho...
i think folks who dismiss charts really haven't made the effort to study it......

Finally if anyone wants to understand more TA this book is the best (imvho) to learn charting....

Just a quick post here as something interesting seems to be taking place on vod, i was still bearish on this with a target 110p until last week.
however in the light of new evidence i'll clean some egg off my face....and change my outlook here... and the new evidence looks pretty compelling imvho.. i will always post my honest view....so its only right to update if the view changes...

This looks like its breaking out with a higher high....(not quite completed it yet, but it looks imminent and closed right on the breakout level)

this imvho....is good to go long with a 145p initial target, with a stop below the recent lows at 122p....
for now i cannot say the bear view is cancelled, but it's certainly delayed...this needs to continue to rally, and break above 145p imvho...so lets see how this goes.....

bp looks like its going to break down lower from a triangle...a formation that usually leads to a decent drop imvho...

so we have vod looking to make a bullish break up....and bp looking like it will make a bearish break down....possibly a sign of the big boys making some sector rotations?
just my thoughts as usual....but this looks a lot happier here than it has been for a while....but lets see...

lots of round number buys going through....
25,0000 - 50,000 - 100,000 and so on....

always a good sign of a big buyer in the background hoovering up sells....
i think folks selling here...are giving there shares away on the cheap imvho...
without the sells i think we would see a nice squeeze here, and this could really motor....

If its of interest i was looking at the mumbo jumbo (aka TA) of Vod in some detail.... with a more longer term view and outlook....i'n not going to bore you all with the chart or too many technicals...

For me, by all intents and purposes this is showing a long term low should come in here around 110p/112p.....

off course i could be wrong and this could avoid going that low....or indeed break lower!

In my very honest opinion and analysis, i'm seeing that area as a bear phase low here....and not being just as a distinct possibility but as highly likely event imvho...

i'm looking to keep some powder dry here ....

bought a nice chunk at 5.10p

should find strong support at 5p...and the rsi is in deep oversold territory.....and also showing a small divergence....which is suggestive of todays fall being a fake move down imvho....

in which case this should pick up here...but lets see....wish me luck please, and good luck to all of you as well...

If you have some fundamental insight and reasoning to be buying Vod atm... then that's more than fair enough....purely from a technical perspective this doesn't look great at the moment imvho...

The reason i'm following the chart here...is not to grab a few % here and there....but i'm looking for the first green shoots of recovery....so i can get some of these to tuck away....
i'm afraid still no signs of any recovery yet imho....

You can see on the chart how the rsi fails to get meaningfully above the 50 neutral line.....how the last rally fails at the 50 day ema line....
It's stuck in this triangle, and making lower lows......

This will for sure at some point, break out with real strength.....atm i think and i hate to say it.....a tad more down first...sorry folks...

having said that i do think is that we are getting closer to a bottom here.....so lets see....
for now i think 119p...then 128p...area....so another dead cat rally....but then we'll see from there....

A rally and close above 132p cancels the bear view...so lets see what happens...

I also think it was a buy imvho.....you can see the jump from around that level (the red line is at 4.70p)

Lots of 100,000 and 200,000 buys going through as well....which is suggestive of someone accumulating...
lets see if we get any holding rns....
Tad disappointed today...but lets see how it closes...

tbh if the best you could come back with is the founders woolly jumper....he's not doing to bad at all then!

for me it's all about performance....as long he keeps delivering what investors and customers want....he can wear what he wants imho....
He can dress up as a pink Hippo and do rolly pollies for all i care.....as long BD keeps out preforming...that's what matters...

You talk about dragons den, someone like Peter Jones usually scrutinises clothing.....but i think he really wants to get to know the person in front of him...and a investment decision is never based on what someones wearing...

well i would like to thank you for your posts.....in fact even as a holder here i think i can actually agree with most of your points...

I'm pretty sure the bod look around the boards, every now and again.....and as someone who has been in business for over 30 years....i listen very carefully to any serious opinions/criticisms....and take them on board.....

I very much think the bod do the same imvho....
As jack Cohen the founder of Tesco famously used to say....always listen to your customers.....it's the key to success
imvho...

The only point i'll make is, if those sort points you make were not an issue....this would be around 50p....and not 5p imvho...so we are buying into potential here imvho...

I say give the bod an opportunity to get things right.....they will off course make mistakes along the way...but i think they are dealing with everything.... one issue at a time ......

recovering nicely....mm's seems to be running low on stock....so starting to tick back...
surprising fall tbh....todays low was a nice buying opportunity....i have added a large amount today...

The chart, purely from a technical perspective...ideally need close above 4.94p....the 50 day ema line feature...
while below the 50 day ema line leaves the door open for test of 3.50p(200 day ema line)

I think we will get a bullish finish around 5p....and ready to push on next week...with the initial target around 6.5p...

Any further drops to around 3.5p are a magnificent buying opportunity imvho....if it does happen....great...i'm gonna fill me boots!
