Probably some rubbish news out about 4.30pm tomorrow when it's too late to sell.

I' m still out . I know some here like to see what others are investing in so to let you know I've bought some JD Sports but still circling here
Just bought back in here hoping for £9 in April.

FTSE taking a beating at present, peeps still buying
Looks like you were spot on Highfly
True enough Darth. The next official trading statement is due 25/2/21, not sure now if we'll get anything else before then. Anyone any ideas what the official update will look like, eg overperform or underperform against the market expectations?? Looking ahead, I don't know if by late Feb we will be any clearer about the progression of the US vaccine programme or indeed what might be happening here.
Highfly- the worry about new variants extending lockdown has driven the SP back down again. Also, to hit their target on vaccines the govt is gonna have to go some, and it sounds like there is political pressure to cut the waiting time on the second inoculation. Vaccine supply is also a factor. We won't know for a few weeks yet when the govt will lift the lockdown and NEX will rely on a date to know when to resume ops here. I confess I'm still out here but looking to get back in but this week looks to me like all will remain at a standstill SP wise as we wait for deaths and case numbers to recede. All imho of course.
....sooner than you think at this rate
Sorry guys decided to leave NEX this morning , not happy with the downward trend but I'll no doubt be back
Sub 260p now
A hint of drift now?
If the buses have to go all electric by 2030 there's gonna have to be some investment from somewhere which could knock the SP in the short/medium term. But some may see it all as great opportunity to buy in and the SP could rocket. So much will depend on the political mood/will of the day, what business in general is thinking about the electric revolution on the road and as has been said, the infrastructure to make it all doable.
Thanks Speedygon, helps answer my question from yesterday. All looking good here for later on in the year. (I hope!!)
Yeah, they've also remained 'neutral' as opposed to 'buy'. The SP could be 270p this afternoon but bearing in mind what is happening in US and here I guess they are concerned the SP might drift. Hence the company needs to keep rolling out good (sales?) news till results then restart in early March (hopefully). I'm just wondering what difference Biden's coming to power will make with his vaccine roll out programme.
Nah! They never say . I've seen recommendations before which were promised for over a year and never materialised. This one today looks like a fairly safe one to me.
Bank of America forecast up to 275p
