Bought in at 90 :-(
Then bought in at :-)
Didn't want to risk more capital at low 30's :-((
Average is 57.77. It would be amazing if it could finish above that today after having been so close to selling at near 40% loss. ROLL ON 60P!
Day trading is not for the faint hearted but IF you can make a profit on CINE then you could technically count that as averaging down.
Can the day traders recommend a trading platform please? I currently use Pluss 500 but the spread and returns and not great compared to for example day trading US shares. And yes I think it would be quite a white knuckle ride currently!
@nardniles what issues are you having with ii?
Those with Lloyds and trading 212, whaaaat are their fees please?
Anyone tempted to or is day trading on this? Buying not selling.
Most cinemas are not yet reopen though are they? Most Americans believe the whole covid 19 is a hoax. Once the cinemas reopen Americans will be going back in hoards slurping their super-sized drinks and candy
I was tracking it around this time last year but decided to buy Uber instead. My investment would've been worth 4x the amount now on Tesla so I missed out massively. With the stock split the shares will be more affordable so I don't think it'll burst anytime soon especially as it's now profitable, it has the electric truck coming soon and will potentially be joining the S&P 500 too.
What are pros about getting into a company before a stock split? Wouldn't it be better to wait for the split and then buy the shares at the cheaper price? TESLA is up 7% after hours btw.
Excuse my ignorance but who are these sort of people paid by and what's it worth to the "employer"?
57.77. Don't know what I should wait for? Will be very tempting if it gets to £1. But also thinking long term and dividends so...?
I've recently joined this board after having been a non- member for a couple of weeks and im just wondering how old everyone in here is? Just curious as to how much life experience there is on here.

Oceanpassage- "seems some people can't admit to making a mistake..."
Funny how when the negative posters talk about Cineworld being sued they don't talk about Cineworld counter- suing
ShorterGuy making up stuff again, where is your evidence about popcorn and profitability? Having actually spoken to staff at cinemas, popcorn is massively profitable and there is very little overheads to make it. It can also be stored for a very long time once popped without going to waste so no constant production costs.
"Take off mask, bite to eat, put on mask, repeat." Is that what people are doing in food shops are they, the same shops that have queues wanting to get in? Yes I know there are discounts available but people are still going out in masses. Your logic/ viewpoint on masks RE cinema is laughable. Another one trying to get investors to sell I guess. Even if Cineworld do enforce masks in the lobby areas (debatable regardless of what it says on their website) they will not enforce in the screening rooms because, you know, there's no such thing as the Mask Police.
Are you really saying that you think people are going to be put off going to the cinema because they have to wear a mask from the car to the cinema screen? They'll take them off in the screen and I don't think the mask rule will be enforced anyway. Especially when cinemas are actively going to be contributing to GDP.
ShorterGuy. Thanks for that essay on why streaming is going to kill off cinema. Because we all know that mothers love watching films on TV while they have screaming children in ther background or foreground instead of dressing up and going to a large cinema screen with their friends and watching a film in peace ????????????? I'll give a D for little research and sounding very desperate. Must try harder.
Your definitely correct about not stressing so much and no i would definitely be more happy if it got to £1 in the not so distant future than if I sold and took a 40% hit!
Excuse my ignorance but why 29 & 41? Thanks for the reassurance. I see it's moving back up now slightly. Every morning I sh*t my pants even I see near double digit reductions in the SP. To be honest if I had excess cash I'd probably average down. I just can't see Cine going bust but it is very stressful being invested in this stock right now.
