Just to be clear Tunsten West is at Hemerdon, a suburb of Plymouth in Devon.

Redmoor is 1mile north of Callington in Cornwall.

I live here with the valuable stuff deep below my house.

Transferred as much as I could before Christmas into our ISAs Will do the same again in April.

However there is still a potentially high CGT bill.

But a Capital gain is not a gain until you sell.

And i am a very long term holder. ( been here since 2016)

I too see the advantage of realising the gain after my demise. There is still an exemption on IHT for AIM shares.

I can see the sense of making decisions without too much reference to the tax implications.

I will not sell any shares before the 4.8p . After that who knows?

Increasing wealth thanks to SML is setting me thinking beyond the government CGT liability.

Since SML is an Aim quoted stock I am expecting it to gain IHT relief. This was 100% but goes to 0% in April.

Is anyone able to confirm this interpretation?

I know I won't benefit myself -just my descendants - but I hate the idea of the government taking 40% of my inflated wealth.

This has become my new target - I was previously expecting 3p in the medium term
