Off Topic Shareholder power wins the day at the Amur GM. Chief Exec told to do one and get a better deal for shareholders rather than just the Board. A roll of the dice for many but a resounding no from the shareholders Different circumstance from here as our Board are so heavily invested. GLA Tr1ck
Well, we've rolled the dice, let's see how they land. Well worked everyone. Good coordination and communication on the board and Telegram and other channels. GLA Tr1ck
I instinctively feel that if legal action is to be pursued then the Nomad should be included. RY obviously thinks everyone will lose interest but I'm happy playing the long game if he forces this through. There's always an ambulance-chaser that can be interested in this kind of action, chasing Robin, chasing the board, chasing the Nomad, even chasing Robin's estate miles down the line. It's a hobby.
Ian You've been the bedrock of this board for most of the time I've been invested here (which is now a hell of a lot longer than I thought I would be when we were hovering at a ha'penny). Many have come and gone, some missed some not at all, but your steadying presence has always helped keep us on an even keel. I for one am grateful to you for that. Take Care Tr1ck
Geng It has already been suggested that a class action be brought to make RY's life hell till he drops. There are plenty ambulance-chasers out there desperately looking for the hint of a good class action. Many would say he deserves it for this appalling dereliction of fiduciary duty. It's all about keeping the BoD in clover. But this is OUR company, not his.
Are we at the stage yet where we organise some sort of class action against RY and the BoD, perhaps with the help of ShareSoc. If he's going to drag out paying himself and his cronies for years we can surely drag out a legal action in response.
As I recall, the BoD never held much in the way of shares, so the possibility to vote this dreadful deal down is definitely there. If we need a new Chief Exec, I'll do it for nothing except the expenses required to get a good deal now for the whole company, rather than an asset sale that keeps snouts in the trough for years at our expense.Tr1ck
The Russians have no chance of their decimated Battalion Tactical Groups from the north quickly becoming effective fighting units just because they've shifted to the East.
